“Great location, amazing onsen view of Fuji”

The location was amazing. Just steps from the train / bus station, it made it very easy to get around the area. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom and showers were very clean. And the onsen has an incredible view of Mt. Fuji. Overall, it's a fantastic deal, and I would stay here again.

“Amazing stays”

Very close to the train station and easy to get around. Free parking provided by hotel was good although it’s a bit far from it but still within walking distance. Fuji san was visible just from the hotel window during clear day was a plus point for the hotel.

Wonderful location and great price, the bath is such a bonus and the family are so friendly.

I liked that we could sleep on futon like real japanese There was an onsen for man and one for women, which are public, but we had the chance to be alone in it. The bathroom and toilet are public but there were clean and for the bathroom, you can lock yourself in to be on your own. They land you kimono as pajamas. They have a breakfast dining room. The personnal are really nice and speak well in english.

“A very convenient and comfortable stay in Kawaguchiko”

We stayed here for 3 nights during peak autumn. Its location just opposite Kawaguchiko Railway and Bus Station is most convenient. The owners are warm & welcoming and understand English. You need to remove your shoes upon entering and put on slippers that they provide. We got a room on the first floor, but away from the side of Mt. Fuji. The room was spacious and the tatami mats comfortable for a relaxing sleep. The towels and bathrobe were clean and spotless. The first & second floor each has a common bathroom & toilet whereas the shower rooms are on the third floor. Just note that there is only one toilet each, for gents & ladies on each floor, so if there is full occupancy, you may have to queue up. We are early risers so did not face any issue. Room was cleaned each day. In case of rain, you can borrow the umbrellas kept near the reception, which was another plus. For breakfast & coffee, two convenience stores (Lawson & 7-Eleven) are located just 3 minutes away. For lunch & dinner, you can find good restaurants in a radius of 5-10mins. We rented e-bikes on consecutive days so were able to do a loop of Lake Kawaguchiko as well as Lake Saiko. Overall a very clean and comfortable stay. If we return to this area a second time, we will definitely stay at Kawaguchiko Station Inn once again.

Being right across the bus/train station is very helpful for travelling to and from Kawaguchiko and getting tourists buses for sightseeing. Staff are friendly. Even though the station and street is chaotic during the day it was quiet at night (late May). We stayed in a room with a window that looked out to Mt Fuji. Good value for money, shared facilities were clean and looked after.

location is great, very near walking distance to bus station and a few convenient stores. Can take bus to other places of Fuji area. Room is comfortable, and great shower room facilities, also you can take hot spring bath as well.
