we liked the location and the view. The apartment was really spacious and comfortable. Amazing bathroom and balcony bath was a real plus. good Aircon and plenty of water provided and clean towels. Fabulous kimonos and pyjamas and socks supplied 😊

We can see beautiful Fuji Mountain outside the hot spring room which is very nice. Food is good, most important is not too much, don’t have leftover. Staff is polite and gentle

“Amazing stay at beautiful traditional hotel”

Stunning traditional Japanese hotel overlooking the lake. The staff were truly amazing, super friendly and accommodating. We had a private onsen in our room and even used the public onsen on the roof, facilities were amazing. The kaiseki meal for dinner was lovely, and same with the breakfast. The meals were very traditional Japanese meaning some parts did not suit our tastebuds but we tried everything and everything was presented perfectly. There is a free shuttlebus that collects and drops you to Kawaguchiko station too which was very helpful. We had the best stay.

the staffs were kind and helpful.. a guy assisted us in our bus & shinkanzen bookings. very knowledge of the area. The Kaiseki dinner prepared in our room was fantastic, the Japanese breakfast was a feast. My friend & I had a massage & it was so relaxing. definitely will stay at the same hotel.

This is my first time staying in a ryokan. I was surprised how comfortable the futon beds were. Having to squat and stand a lot takes a bit of getting used to though. The highlight of the property for me were the Kaiseki meals which were fantastic.

Poor noice barriers in windows… could hear the street noises up in level 6

“Experience all of Japan in one place.”

The whole place is amazing. It's located right on a beautiful lake, the onsen are paradise after several days of travel, the traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious, and it was a wonderful experience. I loved sleeping on a futon; it was very comfortable, and I was thrilled that they provided a kimono for the onsen and Japanese pajamas. Everything was fantastic, but the best part was that my room had a view of Mount Fuji. That's priceless! And if you don't get that room, there's a panoramic view of Mount Fuji on the rooftop, where I took lots of pictures in my kimono, haha.

The hotel is situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Kawaguchi. It’s a perfect location for enjoying the lakeshore and taking the ropeway up to view Mt. Fuji. The hotel staff was highly professional, welcoming, and discreet. They thought of everything to make our stay memorable. Our room door was customized with our name at the door. They replenished our room with towels, tea, and kimonos regularly. The onsen was lovely and well-maintained. Our breakfast was Japanese style, delicious, and served by experienced and friendly staff. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Wonderful!

I LOVED this hotel!!! The room was absolutely amazing and the lake view was breathtaking. Also, the staff was so caring, educated and took care of every detail.

Great traditional experience with the spacious room, very beautiful design, private bath if you opt for this option! Very comfortable futon, helpful and amazing stuff, very tasty dinner and breakfast also in a traditional way. It is close tot he main station as well as to the bus stations. We very much enjoyed our stay!

onsen private and public are good with view. everything is authentic and Japanese. the view to fuji from roof is good. the general location is good. There is big potential here.

Great place in a prime location. It is just an 11-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, with an amazing lake view right in front of the hotel. The Panoramic Ropeway is only a couple of minutes away, and there are also many great cafés within walking distance during the day. Although the room we stayed in had a few flaws, the private onsen overlooking the lake was simply perfect and more than made up for them.

The onsen facilities are amazing. I basically had a private onsen all the time. The staff is friendly and very welcoming, most of all the younger guys, who speak English very well.
