Offering a 6th-floor hot-spring bath with views of Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji, Hotel Route-Inn is 2 km from Kawaguchiko Station. Rooms have free internet and a private bathroom. We loved that we could see Mt Fuji from the road. We tried the onsen and it was wonderful. Also we managed to walk to a beautiful shrine just down the road.

“Great views of Mount Fuji across the lake, clean and comfy hotel”
The hotel has a great view of Mount Fuji to the front. The rooms are small and a little dated, but they are clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was buffet style, mostly Japanese but with a small continental selection. The location is great, not directly in the town but great views over the lake towards mount Fuji, there is also a free shuttle bus to the town that you can book in on at reception.

The lady on reception was really lovely. They have a nice little shop and a waiting area on first floor. They have a car park The dining area looks out onto the lake, and the hot soring also looks out onto the lake so you can see quite a bit of the righthand side of Mt Fuji.

“Very satisfied, good location, great price”
Hotel provided shuttle bus service to from station or the bus just in front of the hotel. The onsen is the best, you can see the Mt Fuji. I travel solo and with no view single bed room, but the room still spacious. Very delicious buffet style breakfast for free.

“Stunning views”
Absolutely stunning views including from the public bath. Food had enough variety. Good to have a bus to the station. Sakura colours just out the door are incredible.

“Lovely place to stay”
Excellent location , we can see mt.Fuji from our bedroom window. Hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko train station. The hotel provides free bus transfer to and from the station , but we haven't used this service. Breakfast was very good, and you have an option to book dinner buffet.
