Overview
At the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, Hotel Koryu boasts outdoor hot spring baths and Japanese-style and Western rooms with serene lake views and a private bathroom. It offers free transfer to/from Kawaguchiko Station, free-use internet PCs and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Guests can unwind in a spacious indoor public hot spring, an outdoor one with panoramic mountain and lake views, or rent a hot spring bath for private use. Koryu Hotel has a 24-hour front desk and drinks vending machines. Japanese-style rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, low furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests sleep in traditional futon bedding. Western rooms offer twin beds and wooden furniture, while all rooms come with an LCD TV, toiletries and yukata robes. Hotel Koryu is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station on the Fujikyuko Line, and a 10-minute drive from amusement park Fujikyu Highland. Mount Fuji is a 50-minute drive away.

I loved every part of this Hotel. The room was beautiful with fabulous lake views. The food was amazing and the staff were all polite and helpful. Location is perfect for Fuji . The outdoor onsen was wonderful. 100% recommend this hotel

“Fabulous hotel”
The staff here are incredible, they are helpful and warm and nothing is too much. The room had absolutely stunning views of the lake. There was everything you could possibly need for your stay available and it had a small shop on site. It was a short walk to shops and cafes and about a 20 minute walk to the station although the do a free shuttle service if thats too far so don't be put off. There's an all you can eat and drink buffet on an evening for just less than £25 which excellent value and a really good way to try some new foods and drinks.

“Wonderful stay with accommodating staff and two relaxing onsen”
Although the hotel is a bit dated, we really enjoyed our stay! The rooms are clean and have a great size. The traditional breakfast buffet offered various dishes with English descriptions and was incredibly tasty. The two onsite onsen are also a huge plus. Additionally the staff are incredible nice and helpful - they even provided a candy bar upon check-in. Luggage storage is also not a problem for the check-in and check-out day. The hotel is a bit outside of the man town, but the walk isn’t long. There is also a big Manga library at the hotel, with various places to relax and read. We would definitely stay here again.

Can’t fault a single thing. Great location, beautiful view, traditional rooms with a cosy feel, free snacks on arrival, coffee and shaved ice dessert for free! Tattoo friendly onsen baths and real cool manga library attached!

Dinner was 10/10. The varaity was very good and most things were tasty. Private onsen was nice. Big manga library! We had bug infestation in ower room and the stuff helped ua righr away. Cleaning the room and replacing the sheets
