The owner is really helpful, even dropped me off at the station. The location was perfect cause its outside the busy streets. Rent a bike and everything is possible!

The host was really friendly, even though he did not speak english fluently he made himself understood. The room was big enough, the bed was fine, the bathroom was clean and the house was cozy. We rented electric bikes 250 yen per hour, really useful for exploring the town and the places around the lake.

I loved staying at the traditional Japanese room, and how can you possibly beat having a direct view of Mt Fuji from your bedroom window? I had a very pleasant stay here. I recommend renting the e-bike and riding around the lake - the host gave me a quick lesson on local traffic rules, which definitely came in handy.

The host was very kind and helpful during check in. The room and beds were quite cozy! It is relatively far from Kawaguchiko Station (30 min) but very close to a fantastic park with a great view of Mt Fuji. The host was kind enough to drive us to the station after check out.

The host was amazing, really helpful. The room was huge, the house is a traditional Japanese house with a traditional bath. The room was clean and comfortable. To consider that it is 30 minutes by walk from Kawaguchiko station, however there are buses available.

We had an amazing stay with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji, very comfortable beds, and everything was perfectly clean. The staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond by even driving us to the station with our luggage, which we truly appreciated since taxis are very limited in the area. There are also several great restaurants within walking distance, and a 7-Eleven is just an 8-minute walk away, which was very convenient.

Our stay at Habitacion NIIYA near Mount Fuji felt less like checking into an apartment and more like stepping into a small, thoughtful story written just for us. From the very beginning, we were welcomed by a lovely lady who took her time to walk us through everything—every detail of the apartment, the surroundings, and even little things we wouldn’t have thought to ask about. It immediately set the tone: this wasn’t just a place to stay, it was a place where people genuinely cared. On the other side, there was Hitomi, who quietly made everything else happen. From arranging bicycles to making sure we had what we needed, he was always one step ahead. When we mentioned our checkout time, he didn’t ask whether we needed a ride to the station—he simply said, “I will bring you.” That kind of effortless kindness stayed with us. The morning we left, the weather was perfect—clear skies and Mount Fuji standing proudly in full view. On the way to the station, Hitomi suddenly stopped the car so we could take photos. Again, something we hadn’t asked for, but something we will never forget. Before we left, I took a photo with this kind soul—a small memory of a truly special stay. The bathroom and toilet were shared, but everything was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. This place is more than just accommodation—it’s an experience shaped by genuine hospitality and small, meaningful gestures. For us, it’s a clear 10/10.

The owner was really helpful, the place had an authentic vibe. I enjoyed my stay:) We also rented the bikes (150jpy an hour). The hot bath after the whole day was a really nice touch!

I like the room! I was a solo traveller but the room I got is enough for like 4 or 5 people! The shower and bath is big! The room is overal clean, and the owner is kind .

Nice accommodation to explore the Lake Kawaguchi, the room was big and spacious and had all the ammenities that we could need. We could see Mt. Fuji from the window. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood, close to some nice parks around the Lake Kawaguchi and away from the most busy/turistic spots.

What I would like to share is that this Airbnb accommodation is very comfortable and clean, with a wonderful couple as the owners—both very kind and friendly. We stayed here for 2 nights. The toilet and bathroom were also very clean. On the second day, the owner even drove us to a nearby restaurant for dinner. They also welcomed us warmly and sent us to Kawaguchiko Station on our final day when we checked out. The house is located very close to the Sightseeing Green Line stop No. 26—about 450 meters on foot. The surrounding area is peaceful and very quiet. The owner’s mother also lives in the house and stayed together with us during our visit. We highly recommend staying here—great value for money and a very calm, relaxing location. The room was very spatious. The host was very kind to offer us a drive to the bus station on our way back, which was especially nice since it was raining and we had a lot of luggage.

We loved this experience of staying in a traditional Japanese house with a view of Mount Fuji. The owner was friendly and helpful. Accommodation is quite basic but very clean and comfortable and the hot bath was great. We hired electric bikes from the host to cycle around the lakes which I highly recommend. The nearby Yagizaki Park is beautiful and we really enjoyed Suzukiya restaurant in the evening.
