The central location is perfect for exploring Fujikawaguchiko. Everything was incredibly clean, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. It's also great value for money.

The location was fantastic. We had a room with a view of Mt. Fuji which was perfect and it was only a 5 minute walk from Kawaguchiko station. The futon style beds were also surprisingly comfortable, though on the firmer side. We had more than enough room for all the luggage and the room was very clean. The shared bathroom facilities were also very clean and didn't bother us at all. O and since it is very close to Kawaguchiko station it is also very close to one of the 2 iconic Lawsons to take you Fuji photos.

Location was splendid, 1-3 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. Room - Great view of the tip of Mount Fuji (most of it was slightly covered by buildings). - Room size was splendid for two people - Tatami mats were comfortable, mattresses was clean and comfortable - Quiet and respectful guests Services - Staff were accomodating and friendly - Offered bicycle rentals at cheaper rates - English speaking receptionists Facilities - Clean and reasonably spacious toilets - Fridges were provided to store food - Hairdryer, soaps, toothbrushes are available

Our stay at GuestHouse Guu was honestly shocking, in the best way possible, for the price we paid. The room was wonderful, with air conditioning and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even though the bathrooms were shared, they were impeccably clean and very well maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, less than a 5-minute walk from the station, which made getting around super easy. One of the highlights was being able to rent bikes at a very affordable price, we rode around both lakes and had an incredible time taking in the stunning views of Mount Fuji. On top of that, being provided with a helmet for biking made us feel safe and well taken care of. We also really appreciated the thoughtful details throughout our stay. For example, there were sanitary pads available in the women’s bathroom, which was a very nice and considerate touch. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend staying here!

“Great Base for Exploring Kawaguchiko”

I had a really pleasant stay at Guesthouse Guu. The location is extremely convenient, just a short distance from Kawaguchiko Station, with Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby, which made everything very easy during my trip. I enjoyed being able to walk and even cycle to nearby attractions around Kawaguchiko. The guesthouse offers bicycle rentals (with a fee), which is a great option if you want to explore the area more freely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. They also kindly allowed me to store my luggage at no extra cost before check-in and after checkout, which was very helpful. However, do note that there is an additional fee if you need to store your luggage overnight after checkout. Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable place to stay, especially for travelers looking to explore Kawaguchiko at a relaxed pace.

The location was pretty near kawaguchiko station. Generally pretty quiet. Shared bathroom was a little troublesome but alright. Pretty clean and instructions were clear and in english. I could see mt fuji from my room window, which was a pleasant surprise!
