Overview
Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Konanso offers indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, a private-use bath (charges apply), and a foot bath on the rooftop. Relaxing massage services can be arranged. Other facilities include karaoke rooms and a lounge bar. A souvenir shop can be found on the ground floor. Guest rooms at Konanso are fitted with futon bedding, a seating area and a flat-screen TV. A Fridge and an electric kettle are also provided. Guests can try on Yukata robes or enjoy free green tea in their room. Some rooms feature an open-air hot spring bath. The property is a 10-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. A free pick-up service from the station is available upon request. Mount Fuji 5th Station for climbing is a 1-hour bus ride from Kawaguchiko Station. Popular Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park is a 5-minute drive away, while Gotemba Outlet Shopping Mall can be reached within a 40-minute drive. Seasonal Japanese multi-course meals are served either in a private dining room or in the guestroom. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the dining room.

I loved the overall experience - room with private onsen with Mt Fuji view, the typical japanese room with tatami, the kaiseki dinner, all the amenities in line with Japanese culture. A special kuddos to the super kind lady who looked after us to show us our room, explain everything and serve our kaiseki dinner. Service was exceptional.

“Best hotel ever”
Best hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff were amazing, the rooms were amazing, the amenities were phenomenal. Cannot recommend this hotel high enough. If I come back to Fuji, this is where I will stay.

This is the best hotel in Japan during my stay, I will come back again. From the front desk to drivers going though chefs and room service. Everything was awesome. Really good onsen with ice cream and a sofa massage. The rooftop has a foot onsen with a stunning views to Mt. Fuji.

“Beautiful ryokan stay in Mount Fuji”
The whole place was amazing. Was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable sleeping in the floor was. Big enough room for my family of 4. Food was great and the views superb. We were lucky to get a clear day so woke up to the spectacular Mt Fuji views from the rooftop!! Our host for the in room dinner was great and explained everything with great detail.

“the best stay I could ever have near Fuji”
The room was beautiful with tatami mats and truly comfortable futuns. The services were top-notch, the staff were incredibly kind, and the private onsen with a view of Fuji... For me, this was the best stay of our trip to Japan. It was worth every penny. Special thanks to the very kind woman who served us dinner in our room. The dinner was spectacular, exceeding our expectations with a variety of dishes and pairings, truly Michelin-starred! The shuttle to the station offered a breathtaking view. We sincerely thank all the staff and hope to return one day!
