We were very happy to stay here. The place is located away from the main tourist areas, which allows for a more local and homely atmosphere. The building is old, but very clean and well-organized. The host was extremely kind and cheerful and helped us with everything we needed.

Everything was amazing. The place was very cozy and the staff was incredibly kind. Everything was very clean, and we were astounded at the number of services that were offered, including the private jacuzzi, onsen, and the nightly musical show with homemade drinks. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to the Mount Fuji area.

We loved our time at this accommodation and the area! Yoshi was fabulous. As other guests mentioned his homemade breakfast was a delight!! We really enjoyed this more eclectic home style stay and would definitely recommend to others. Seeing Fuji from our window was a delight

Great accommodation! Nice host (but strict rules) and good to reach with the red sight-seeing bus line and with a little walking. We took a taxi there first with our luggage which was also okay and cost around 2.100 Yen. The hot bathtub is heaven! There are so many things to discover, we couldn't try them all. Our room didnt have the Fuji-view, but was still very nice and we could sleep with the windows open, there was not a single sound and we woke up to birds singing. We also loved the Yukata-style bathrobes.

The view for Fuji was amazing, the owner did his best to make us feel comfortable, I liked the bath and sauna room, smell of cosmetics was amazing, the tea was great. The room was very spacious, and the music evening was very nice as well

We loved our stay at Crescendo. It was a beautiful peaceful surrounding with a perfect Mt. Fuji view from our room. We enjoyed the hot spring and breakfast. The host was such a friendly man who warmly welcomed us and made the stay very good for us.

Yoshi and his family have hospitality down to a fine art. They were amazing, made us feel so comfortable and at home. The amenities were brilliant, jacuzzi with a view of mt Fuji, private onsens and a wonderful view of mt Fuji from our room. The beds were also very comfortable. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Yoshi was so friendly and welcoming. I had too much fun listening to his music and drinking his homemade fruit spirits. The room was so comfy and cosy and the 3 private onsens were perfect. Also, breakfast was amazing. Thank you!!!!!

The host is really polite and welcoming. The location is good (it is not near the center, but the bus stop is nearby and it is on walking distance from oishi park).

We loved everything, it broke our hearts so much you can't imagine. The owner of the hotel is the most wonderful person in the world. The musical evening will remain etched in my memory forever; I watch the videos over and over again and cry with happiness and delight. Our view from our room was of Mount Fuji, the visibility was perfect. The onsen, sauna, and jacuzzi were also perfect.

Yoshi was the ultimate host! He was so welcoming, happy, and helpful. The guesthouse is comfortable and well located on lake Kawaguchiko. We wondered if it was going to be off the beaten track, but it was well positioned to bus stops within a short walk, and we were glad we stayed here rather than the main town. Music hour and breakfast were definitely a highlight, as well as the onsen! Thank you Yoshi and family :)

“Warm and friendly hotel with lovely host”

We found the Crescendo Hotel charming and thought the host Yoshi was a most wonderful warm, friendly and helpful person. It's such a lovely family-run hotel and Yoshi takes great pride in the great establishment he has created here. We really enjoyed the evening time in the bar where Yoshi played his guitar and sang Japanese (and other) songs. During this time we had such a nice time talking to other guests and connecting with them - it was all a very memorable stay.

The room was amazing and the biggest one we had during our Japan stay. The view was also breathtaking and we were lucky enough to get two perfectly clear days of Mt Fuji views and sunsets! The hot spring and jacuzzi were amazing amenities and the breakfast was top tier. Made with ingredients from Yoshi's garden and was the best breakfast we had by far. The host and staff were so generous and accommodating. Yoshi was kind enough to call us a taxi when we forgot to reserve one or else we would have missed our bus. You will not regret staying here, and we can't wait to go back! 11/10
