Overview
Located right in front of Lake Kawaguchi in the Mount Fuji area, Fuji Lake Hotel offers spacious accommodations with mountain or lake views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby and guests can enjoy the public hot-spring baths. A free shuttle is available from Kawaguchiko Train Station, which is a 12-minute walk away. The air-conditioned rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. Some rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) seating area and a private open-air bath. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests and the en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Guests can swim in the pool during the summer season and request massages or facials for an extra cost. The 24-hour front desk offers photocopying services and luggage storage. Guests can enjoy free local drinks at the night Lounge. All meals feature seasonal ingredients and are served at the dining room. Dinner will be changed from Japanese kaiseki to Japanese and Western style buffet from 1 March, 2023. Hotel Lake Fuji is a 5-minute drive from Fujikyu Highland and a 10-minute drive from Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine.

“A fantastic view of the lake and extremely polite staff.”
I really enjoyed the hospitality from the staff, even though we only stayed one night. They answered all our questions, showed us to the room, gave us a quick run down of the amenities, and got us booked in for a private onsen. Talking of which, I would highly recommend it.

The rooms are lovely. They are mix of traditional Japanese and western style. We had the private onsen. The pictures don’t do any justice to nice the place is. The water was clean and warm. The rooms were well stocked with anything you might need.
