Staying at Penzion Hrad in Frydek-Mistek was like stepping into a fairytale, as we found ourselves immersed in the charm of a traditional Czech castle. The architecture and decor transported us back in time, while still providing all the modern comforts we could need. Each room felt like an enchanting blend of history and coziness, with beautiful touches that celebrated Czech heritage. The staff’s warmth and hospitality were unmatched, making us feel like cherished guests in this historic castle. They took the time to offer personal recommendations, directing us to nearby attractions and sharing stories that deepened our appreciation for the area. The food in the restaurant was incredible, cooked on a wood fired open grill, incredibly unique. Penzion Hrad combines the magic of staying in a real Czech castle with the thoughtful touches and impeccable service of a modern hotel.
