The hotel was stylish, comfortable and immaculately clean. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and were warmly received by the host. Everything was perfect. Also there is secure parking.

Located about 15mins from the centre of Tournai in a secluded and wonderfully peaceful part of the countryside.

“Friendly, yet weird.”

This is not a traditional guest house as one would expect. I would more compare it to renting a room in someone's house for a night or 2. Privacy is limited and the owner's of the house try their best to make you feel welcome, but I still felt a bit awkward. I had to pay ahead of time for 2 nights for work, but only ended up spending one night. There was no offer to (partially) refund me for the second night (I checked out early during the day) and when I dropped off the keys I was also asked to pay €20 cash for the coffee and 2 soft boiled eggs I had for breakfast. I would understand that price for a full buffet breakfast, but it is a bit expensive for a very limited choice of cheap cuts of cold meat and cheese. All in all the stay was fair as I only had to sleep one night (for €109 per night), the breakfast was expensive and the company was unexpected.

Maneka is probably my favourite B&B host I've ever had the pleasure to encounter. She's honest, warm-hearted, funny and genuinely herself, has a story to tell (actually, looooots of stories to tell :)) Great breakfast, great garden.

Fantastic staff that was understanding and kind, clean fasilities and a delicious breakfast. Great if you want to get outside of the busy city life and enjoy a peraonalized experience, the scenery and location was beautiful as well!

Quiet place, nice garden . Have plans to go there again in summer, should be nice to sit there outside . Was nice to have free coffe or tea when we want . Funny dizain of room. You must be really close people with other person with what to stay together in the room, because from room can see shower and hear toilet, there is no door. Was not problem for us. Just saying :) Actually there is other toilet outside room what you can use also .

Staff (mother and daughter) were both so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were very clean. Nice, quiet location. Breakfast was amazing. Can't wait to go back.
