“Beautiful countryside retreat with exceptional hospitality”

Beautiful and very well-maintained property where it is clear that the owners truly care about every detail. The accommodation was spotless, the garden and surroundings were beautifully kept, and the swimming pool was absolutely fantastic. We especially appreciated the fully stocked shared refrigerator and kitchen area, where there was always plenty of food available and anything that was used was quickly replenished. Fresh bread every morning was a wonderful touch. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We would also like to thank them for their excellent recommendations for trips and places to visit in the area, which helped make our holiday even more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would be happy to return in the future.

Loved our stay here. Stefano and Luisa were incredibly warm.and friendly and offered great suggestions for how to spend our time in the area. Our apartment had a great view and.was very comfortable. The kitchen on our arrival was filled with breakfast items, cheese, wine, biscuits and the hosts arranged fresh bread if we wanted it. These were lovely touches. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Tuscany. Would love to stay here again!

Stefano and Luisa are incredibly welcoming, offering thoughtful touches and great local advice on where to eat, what to visit, and how to make the most of your stay. The property preserves many original architectural details such as exposed bricks, beams, and Tuscan character everywhere you look. Spacious, well-equipped apartments: Each apartment is comfortable and comes with everything you might need. The setting is tranquil and scenic, yet ideal for visiting Siena, San Galgano Abbey, San Gimignano, and other nearby gems.

Everything went smoothly. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. When minor health issues arose, the host promptly assisted and managed everything, even accompanying us and providing translation, for which I am sincerely grateful.

“Tuscany idyll”

The setting is wonderful, the host welcoming, thoughtful and generous. The architecture is so well thought through and it just feels so special. Space is generous and private. Information is readily available and Stefano will spend as long as you want to get to know the area. The pool was closed for our duration but looked large and inviting.

The location was perfect for exploring Tuscany. A lot of space. The appartment was big and clean, the kitchen was fully equiped and prefilled with food, which was great. The owners were very kind and helpful. The place was beautiful!

The property is set on a beautiful hill, surrounded by so many olive trees. The room is quite cosy and fully equipped with a kitchen setup which we loved and didnt have to go out for lunch or dinner. We had a great stay and bought olive oil bottles from Stefano.

It is a beautiful property, located in a very peaceful location, with a wonderful view. We stayed in a great apartment. It is a great base for exploring the Tuscany region. We were very well received by Stefano and Luisa's hospitality. They gave us great support, all information about the accommodation, as well as several tourist tips and restaurants in the area. I definitely recommend this guest house to everyone, and I would love to be able to stay there again.

Everything was perfect. The view from the apartment was breathtaking! Our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, we had a bottle of wine, cake , cookies and homemade jam waiting for us upon our arrival. Everything you need for breakfast was in the fridge. Well equipped and clean apartments with private terrace, very peaceful. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

La Fornace di San Galgano is a great starting point for exploring the Siena region and Tuscany. We really enjoyed our time in this extraordinary place. Luisa‘s and Stefano‘s hospitality made us feel right at home.

What I liked best is that the reviews turned out to be true: La Fornace was offered privacy, comfort and support to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as we were hoping for. The flat was clean, comfortable and well thought-through in how it was furnished. Stefano and Louisa were kind, helpful and practical. A big and honest thank you to both of you :)

“The best accomodation in Tuscany”

The best choice you can make. It's a very nice place on a hill, so you have great views all around. Rooms are great, with everything you may need. You have plenty of things not only sweet, plus sth for dinner. They gave us a local wine as a welcome (you can also buy from them other local ones) you can also ask for a fresh bread each morning. The personel is super kind and helpful. They explain everything, give you advices about places worth to see in Tuscany, restaurants and what you might need. They speak good English, so no worries and text you back quickly.

Amazing stay in this establishment! Stefano the host offers the beat quality/price i’ve seen in Italy. Beautiful 2 stories apartment, very clean and cozy. We rented the Torre apartment, it has a kitchen on second floor. Upon arrival, our fridge was filled with water, wine and juice, fresh bread, pasta, tomato sauce, garlic and onion and everything for the breakfast. It’s above expectation! Stefano is passionate about his home region Sienna, took the time to share information and a bit of wisdom. Thank you and bravo! Recommend 110%
