“Peaceful place to just chill.”

Located in a very peaceful and beautiful setting. Christophe kindly offered us a larger room for a small fee and we were so grateful. A visit to the Carafour in Le Maisnil and top up of petrol and we were set for our 3 days. Cooking in house, riding on our Vespas visiting all the sites we had planned to see regarding the no mans land region. Good nights sleep even with the calling of the beautiful peacocks. Not everything was perfect but it’s up to you to make it the best as possible.

The accomodation here is superb! We had to leave another accomodation at short notice and found ourselves without a place to stay for one night and this accomodation came to the rescue and not only did it rescue us but we adored our stay here and it is exactly the type of place we would usually choose so we were very lucky! The accomodation was very spacious and clean and beautifully decorated. There was a garden to enjoy a little time relaxing. Following a small relation we undertook a circular walk surrounded by chou fields and through pretty villages, it was wonderful and just what we needed! I have taken the details as we would choose to proactively stay here again in the future. I didn't have access to my emails so the host called me, My French language skills are OK but were put to the test over the phone but we managed. Very lovely host who came in person to welcome us.

The property is in a beautiful location away from town surrounded by farmland. Christophe is very friendly and helpful. It was great visiting the menagerie he keeps too. We loved the peace and comfort.

Really welcoming staff, the room was big and had all the things you needed to make it a base camp and go out for the day. Breakfast was amazing but you have to pay cash at the property.

We had a delightful stay in a cozy room at a charming farmhouse near Lille. The big, beautiful garden at the back was a serene retreat. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and offered excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Christophe was very friendly and my lateness of arrival was not a problem. The rural setting was great and there is handy access to the major roads. It is very close to the battlefields that I wanted to visit.
