“Lovely relaxing stay - highly recommend, after the hustle and bustle of Lugo!”

The position is very pretty and everything felt very comfortable. A good garden to sit in, near a bar and an indoor swimming pool. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms are big, modern and airy. Right on the Camino, a few km before Ferreira.

“A little taste of luxury on the Camino”

Other than being a beautiful place in a tranquil setting, the restaurant hours were much appreciated (opened at 6pm) and the burgers were fantastic (locally sourced). Generous portions, more than we expected. Wish we had swimsuits to make use of the pool!

Clean and the pool option was a bonus. The staff were so kind and helpful, we felt very looked after.

Spacious room, very clean. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Nice restaurant, I had a decent dinner there and the best breakfast buffet I had on the camino. Location is great, it’s right on the Camino in a quiet village, approximately in the middle between Lugo and Melide, so it was very convenient.

Everything. The accommodation is in a perfect place. Tranquil and relaxing plus its right on the Camino Way path. The staff and owners are so lovely. They accommodated our specials diets and massive servings which was welcoming compared to the baby sizes in restaurants elsewhere.

The room was really well heated, which I deeply appreciated after trekking the camino 7 hrs in the rain in 10 degrees. The owner and staff were extremely welcoming. Food and buffet breakfast was spot on. Smoothies, health food, were available.

“Exceptional Hotel in the Camino Primitivo”

The rural hotel is exceptional. A true Oasis in the middle of the Camino de Santiago. Everything is new and remarkably clean, rooms are spacious and they have a climatized swimming pool to relax after a day of walking. Breakfast buffet is delicious. And, Maria, the innkeeper, makes sure you truly feel welcome and at home. She goes the extra mile to make sure guests are exceptionally well taken care of.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at on the Camino – an absolute gem on the route. Location The hotel is set in a tiny, peaceful mountain village. Quiet, scenic and completely relaxing – the perfect place to rest after a long day of walking. Room My room was huge, high (around 5 meters!) and extremely comfortable. • underfloor heating – a rare luxury on the Camino • plenty of pillows with different firmness levels • a very spacious shower area • a large TV • lots of outlets + USB ports by the bed • spotless everywhere, as if the hotel were brand new • excellent soundproofing – I slept incredibly well • individual temperature control on the wall that works perfectly Food Fantastic. • The lunch “menu del día” was delicious and served quickly • The portions were large and very filling • The staff speaks limited English, but they do everything they can to help and communicate nicely • Breakfast was great too: warm scrambled eggs, bacon, good coffee – a perfect start to the day Pool A highlight of my stay. There’s an indoor heated pool with a glass wall overlooking the mountains. After a full day of walking, having the whole pool to myself was pure bliss. Staff The staff is extremely kind, warm and flexible. I arrived early and had to wait about 5 minutes for check-in – during that time they brought me a coffee in the restaurant and refused to let me pay for it. A small gesture, but it says everything about their hospitality. Facilities • very fast WiFi (especially important because there is almost no mobile signal in the area) • early check-in from 12:00 • a cozy lounge area with board games and a place to relax ⸻ Overall: Everything here feels thoughtful and well-designed. It’s clean, comfortable, peaceful and run with genuine care. I could easily stay here for a full week – and on the Camino, that is the highest praise I can give. Highly recommended.

“An oasis on Camino de Santiago - very much recommended.”

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We had an apartment which was extremely comfortable. We had access to the indoor pool but didn't use this due to the heavy rain during our stay. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent.

Great stay, very friendly family run. Delicious supper including home made yoghurt and honey from own hives. Very good breakfast buffet (lots of gluten free options). Swimming pool (we didn’t use).
