This was second stay at Casa Ayo. Lovely little house in the hills above Frigiliana looking out to sea. Beautiful views. The accommodation is comfy and lacks for nothing.

“A peaceful mountain escape with breathtaking mountain and sea views”

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful house nestled in the mountains, not far from the sea. The location is truly the best of both worlds—peaceful, scenic mountain views combined with easy access to beaches and coastal towns. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable. One of our best stays! The hosts were lovely too, they were warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. Frigiliana is such a charming village as well, located only 5 minutes down the road from the house. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat surrounded by nature but still close to the coast, this is the place. We’re already planning to come back!

“Serenity and Comfort”

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Ayo! Communication with the host was excellent from the start, and the location is simply perfect—with stunning views that we enjoyed every day. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. A special thanks to the host for allowing us to stay longer on our last day—this was incredibly helpful given our late flight. We also really appreciated having the gas grill during the national power cut in Spain, which allowed us to prepare our meals without any stress. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

We loved everything about this beautiful Casa. Friendly and helpful host, stunning location and exceptional views even from within the property too (an amazing view from the bed whilst drinking a morning cuppa!) that we never grew tired of looking at. Really comfortable accommodation that had everything that we wanted, and more, and a very private terrace. Cannot recommend highly enough! Will definitely book again. A beautiful region of Spain with more to discover. Perfect for walking, cycling or just lazing on the terrace.

Fantastic view...hills and sea in background. Very quiet and confortable house.Really felt like a holiday home. 6 minutes in car from Frigliana..a beautiful,clean,white village,great views,with good restaurants and bars and not too touristy. Lovely area to visit,Malaga itself,charming Maro and it's nearby beaches..Del Canuelo was lovely and great scenery inland as well

The property was lively and peaceful, well equipped and lively and clean had everything you could need.

Fantastic views over the hills and down to the sea. Only 10mins in the car to Frigiliana and about 20mins into Nerja the lost village el Acebuchel is just up the road from the villa. Ayo very accommodating, nice bottle of wine waiting on arrival. Lovely peaceful location and the sunrises and sunsets were stunning which also meant you get the sun all day on the terrace.

Peaceful location up in the hills beyond Frigiliana with an amazing view all the way to the sea. Totally private and secure and with a car-parking space. A lovely little self-contained house, comfortable and fully equipped, with outdoor space (with a table and loungers) and a dipping pool (although unheated). Absolutely Ideal for a couple like us who enjoy privacy and quiet and being in the countryside. Ayo, the host was super helpful.

the views were exceptional, catching the sun set over the hills was almost magical. the hosts are sone of the best communicators and ensure a smooth trip for you
