“Casa Alba is heaven on earth!”

We loved the private location with incredible valley and sea views. It was early season so the pool was cold, as expected, but it was very nice to dip our feet on the warmer days. The home was cozy, exceptionally clean, and perfect for a couple. A place so close to Frigiliana made it easy to access this special town. Our hosts Marisa and Jesus were excellent too.

The views from the property were fantastic. The property is not overlooked. The road to it is ok but unsure drivers may struggle as it is single track. The accommodation itself if rustic but fully functional. Plenty room around the private pool and whilst the pool is a little on the smaller side, it is perfectly suitable to bob about on a lilo. Aldi & Lidl are a 20min drive away for food/drink and the lovely village of Frigilani is about a 10min drive away. The hosts were also great with good comms.

“EXCEPTIONAL!!”

Beautiful villa in a perfect location! My partner and I stayed at Casa Alba end of February for 3 nights and it was sensational. Not only were the views to die for, the facilities were perfect for independent living. Facilities included a TV, WIFI, cooking facilities, cleaning products, ironing board, extra blankets and pillows, games, outside BBQ and indoor log burner. Marisa and Jesús met us in Frigiliana and we followed behind in the car (which is absolutely essential) up to the villa. They were lovely hosts, very accommodating and available throughout the day for any issues or advice. Complementary tea, coffee, biscuits and milk included. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone hoping to stay in/around this area. With only a 5 minute drive into Frigiliana and around 20mins to Nerja for beautiful beaches, this was a perfect base location in the quiet mountains overlooking the blue sea. Be aware it can be windy occasionally but overall, sun sun sun. This villa is exceptional value for money and we will definitely be back soon!

“Relaxing Hillside Getaway Near Rio Chillar”

The views are stunning. The pool is bigger than pictures show it. Marisa and Jesus met us to guide us to the villa, they are a lovely family, very welcoming. Great little villa for a couple or small family to relax. We used it as a base to tour to Gibraltar, Malaga, El Caminito Del Rey and the Rio Chillar. Frigiliana is a stunning village only minutes away via car. Would highly recommend if you hire cars and like to drive on holiday. A car is essential but this is made clear on booking website. Would advise waking up to see the sunrise here!

Everything was absolutely brilliant. Fantastic mountain and sea views that you can look at all day and night. The owners were so helpful with everything, any problem just contact them and they will reply straight away. The road is not as bad as previously mentioned but meet the owner at the meeting point and follow them, once you travel the road first time it is ok. Swimming pool is bigger than its look in the pictures and great for cooling down on a hot day. Excellent place for complete and tranquil relaxation. Frigiliana is only 5 mins away by car and Nerja is about 15 mins by car. You would need a car for staying here. Cannot recommend this place enough, we would definitely go back there again. Thank you for a great time.

“Beautiful location for a peaceful getaway.”

The location is outstandingly beautiful, it’s up in the mountains outside Frigiliana and boasts beautiful views over the mountains and as far as the sea. It’s extremely private as well, making for an extremely peaceful holiday. You really could not ask for a better location. We did a lot of outdoor living and that is what the property is designed for. You will need a car and the roads are not for the faint hearted but if you try driving some of the other roads (we did a half day spa at the other side of the mountain with Lidia - look her up!) - it’ll give you some perspective! The roads to Casa Alba are fantastic compared to the rest of the area. Frigiliana is only ten minutes away and Nerja twenty, so if you want to go out exploring, parking tends to be fine and you’re pretty close to these pretty towns.

“Relaxing quiet stunning views ideal for a couple”

Location was not easy to get to but once there views and privacy were excellent. Cannot fault having breakfast on the little terrace with great views down the valley.
