Very uncomplicated service; friendly and helpful staff always available from early morning till late evening. Rich breakfast buffet in the mornings, good restaurant for the evenings. Good starting point for some interesting hikes. Public transport to Tabarz, Gotha and Walterhausen included in the stay (Gästekarte).

“Great hotel in Thuringian forest”
Beautiful forest location about 1 mile from town centre. Good starting point for walks. Welcoming and attentive hosts. So relaxing! Excellent breakfast.

“Nice hotel - but why a fee for parking?”
Very friendly and competent staff. Clean and well maintained rooms. Good restaurant. We liked also the location in the forest away from cities.
