“Cozy, clean and super friendly staff”
Lovely view from the balcony, quiet. We enjoyed the room with board and card games that is close to the restaurant area. Great breakfast choices and super lovely staff

A beautiful location. We were warmly met by very friendly staff. Complementary drink on arrival. The room was lovely with a very warm ensuite. We ate in the hotel. Food was great too.

“A great family run hotel in the countryside.”
A family run hotel in the countryside a short drive from Freudenstadt. We were a little earlier than expected but the owner Sabine was very friendly and welcoming giving us a free welcome drink which we enjoyed in the beer garden at the rear of the hotel. We were able to park our motorcycle in the private hotel car park close to our room. The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony with views of the countryside. Fresh fruit was available for guests in the bar area.

“Fantastic spot to explore Schwartzwald!”
Everything was fantastic. Sabine is a wonderful host, she manages to be both super helpful and warm while also giving you lots of space. The beds are outstandingly comfortable. Breakfast was great. The garden was beautiful and the location was super for exploring the local area. As we stayed two nights we were given a pass for attractions in the local area- some free and some discounted. This was so valuable, we couldn’t believe it! So many fantastic things to do in Schwartzwald. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends. Thanks Sabine and the team!

I had a lovely stay at the Sonnenschein Hotel. The hosts are just adorable, both from the Hotel as from the restaurant. Rooms comfy, food very good, kindness all around, forest just down the road for beautiful walks,... What else do you need ? I warmly recommend this place.

“A nice countryside retreat”

We stayed one night here on our way to Bavaria. The hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Great garden with views over the hill. Perfect for dinner and breakfast outdoors.

“Beauty and Comfort in the Black Forest!”
very beautiful property with lots of space outside to sit and enjoy the Sun with a beer. The room was spacious with a beautiful balcony and super soft beds. we ate at the restaurant and the meals were delicious!
