This family-run hotel enjoys an idyllic location beside a small lake and surrounded by woodland. A modern spa, rental bicycles and a traditional restaurant serving regional dishes is offered here. Spacious rooms decorated with rich floral fabrics and solid wooden furniture feature at Hotel Langenwaldsee. All rooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking the lake and some also include a flat-screen TV. Meals at Langenwaldsee’s restaurant are freshly prepared using local produce from organic farms. Guests can sample seasonal dishes and food typical of the Swabia-Baden region. Beauty treatments, ayurvedic massages and a Finnish sauna are all available in the Langenwaldsee’s spa. “A nice traditional black forest Hotel”
A nice traditional black forest Hotel, food was excellent. A good base to explore the black forest with tracks available from the hotel. The food was excellent.

We were travelling with family and booked two comfort rooms with forest Views. Both rooms were very comfortable with the additional feature of a kettle for the purpose of making tea or coffee drinks. Several pillows were provided. We ate in the restaurant on two nights and found the meals to be of a good standard. The breakfast was fine as well with home baked bread and pastries. We used the pool but not the spa areas on this occasion.There is a bus stop situated just outside the hotel on the main road. The bus is free to use if you have paid the spa tax and takes about 5 minutes to take you to the centre of the local town. Hand sanitiser points are situated near reception and buffet area.

“Location, fresh air, incredible food, cleanliness, spa.”
Location is perfect. Miles and miles of trails in the Black Forest directly from the hotel. The food is worthy of a Michelin star. The hotel and staff are very polite and charming.

“Black Forest immersion experience.”
Well located for walks through the Black Forest. Restaurant provided hearty, tasty, German fare. Typical German buffet breakfast. Free parking. Nice indoor pool.

“This is a lovely, relaxing hotel with exceptional food.”
This is a lovely, relaxing hotel. The setting is idyllic and as we had a balcony overlooking the little lake it was lovely. The food was brilliant and staff were mostly lovely.
