“WE WERE SCAMMED”
Was scammed. Person at front desk. GLORIA, said payment through booking. Com didn't go through. Had to pay directly a 2nd time, with an extra $20 fee for checking in early. GLORIA said to call booking.com to figure out why the payment was not going through. I could not get through booking.com to resolve and had to pay at counter again to stay. Very unsatisfactory.

There wasn't anything to like about this stay. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my entire 32-year travel history. However, I liked the Internet summary description of the property, but the actual experience was nothing like the Internet description.

“The worst stay in a motel I have ever had. After visiting over 20 countries”
Absolutely nothing. We arrived at the motel and checked in after they could not find our reservation and tried to charge me a second time after I had already paid. We were then shown to a room that had not been cleaned. There was still faeces in the toilet and there was a maggot on the floor. There was a bloodstain on our bedspread and I did not feel comfortable sleeping in that room. We then complained that the room had no toilet paper and we were shown to another room where me and my dad had to share a double bed because that’s all that they had available. 12 o’clock at night there was people outside our bedroom arguing then at 3 am there was people smoking weed dogs barking and women yelling at each other. We were meant to stay for two nights but did not feel safe or comfortable in the hotel and we made other arrangements to travel an extra three hours north to stay in another hotel and cut our losses and lost our money. Do not recommend. Do not stay here, not safe, not clean not friendly staff.
