Brand new and modern hotel, clean and comfortable bed, cosy bar, convenient (paid) car park and Aldi supermarket next door. It’s 15 min tram/ drive from the centre but great location for our overnight stay.

We spent only one day in this hotel. Everything was ok. Breakfast was excellent. Parking place outside (quiet area behind the hotel) for eur 10 was good enough. We booked the room several days arrival. Price for one night with breakfast included was fantastic. Maybe because it was Sunday to Monday. Nice 30-45 min walk to the old center.

It was very clean, easy accessible from our route to/from Italy (Tuscany). The family room was spacious and the breakfast was more than sufficient. We could park our car in the parking underneath the hotel for a small fee. Will definitely book again! Tip for dinner: please pay a visit to the nearby Italian restaurant: Ristorante - Pizzeria Friedrichstal (3 min walk). Good food, good prices and a very friendly Italian owner!

We had a wonderful stay at Libertas in Freiburg and would happily return. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home. What truly made the experience special, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly and professional, but I would especially like to mention Gerassimos. He was exceptionally kind, attentive, and hardworking, always ready to help with a genuine smile. His positive attitude and dedication made a real difference in our stay! Keep up the good work always with a smile!

The night clerk did not speak german or english. That was a bit wierd to me. But the bartender there was Great, a really fun and Nice guy

“Everything you want at the edge of Freiburg”

I have stayed here several times, and hope to do so again in the future, as the hotel has pretty much anything and everything you want for a short (or even a bit longer) stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is varied and of consistently high quality, and everything is quite clean. They even have secure storage for a lot of bikes, including e-bike charging stations.

The hotel is just along the train station and windows are not isolated enough. I am not a sensitive person to noise while sleeping, still the level of noise from train station was unbearable.
