Overview
These cottages are set along a Kattegat Sea beach, 10 km south of Frederikshavn. Each offers a private furnished patio, along with cooking hobs and a coffee machine. Guests at Svalereden Camping & Cottages can choose accommodation with either private or shared bathroom facilities. Some feature a flat-screen TV and full kitchen with a dishwasher. Wi-Fi access is available. The on-site shop sells basic groceries, freshly baked bread, as well as newspapers, beer and wine. “Excellent”
The owner on our arrival was lovely. She couldn’t do enough for us even though she was clearly very busy. Best showers on any camp site I have stayed in Europe ! Very clean and everything you need to be comfortable. Very honoured to share the patio area with a pair of nesting wag to g to tails.

“A short stay on my way home from Norway.”
I arrived during the night after a ferry trip. No problem for this accommodation! My cabin was basic but clean and comfortable. A nice terrace, balcony and parking place right next to the cabin.

It was great camping: the cabin was really worth the little money we paid for it and the facilities were good. We did late check in and it worked out really well. Good spot for one night stay while traveling. Next to sand beach!
