Used Motel Karbie for the last three years when on motorcycle tour. Always stop at the Motel, just off the main route, exceptional welcome and comfortable and clean room. Small cafe for coffee and cakes/sandwiches, petrol at local prices and secure parking for the motorcycle. Local small pleasant town with bars/restaurants in the centre, 5 minutes walk. Will stop again on return journey without hesitation.

We searched for a place to stay for one night, Motel Karibe was a good choice for it. Breakfast was also very useful and tasty. The owner was flexible with our late arrival, we are grateful for that.

A nice hotel within easy reach from the motorway! Very friendly and helpful hosts! Nice room with comfy beds and spacious bathroom. Short walk from the surprisingly pretty centre with restaurants and a museum in a beautiful palace. Super slow elevator 😉 There is a petrol station with good prices! A small bar with good Italian coffee and something for breakfast!

Second visit, previous being in summer 2023 as part of a motorbike EU tour. Again a wonderful greeting by the host and the room was as expected, clean with comfortable bed/pillow, modern room/facilities and air con. Secure covered parking offered again for the motorbike behind the hotel with gate, nothing seems to be a problem for the host and breakfast again of coffee/water/cake etc, even an offer of bottled water for the days ride. For me there was no fault and will always stopover when on tour as the hotel and host, cost etc, meets my requirements and then some. The fact that the hotel is based at, or is part of a petrol station is no problem. There is no noise from the petrol station and at local prices it adds to being able to fill up the tank before setting off. Location is 5 minutes from the main/motorway and 5 minutes walk to the small town centre which has a couple of bars/restaurants.

Clean room. Very nice owners, they try to be very helpful. Very good Italian breakfast (especially the caramel croissant - the best I've ever eaten) with very nice and fast service. There is a gas station right on the spot, a 5-minute walk to the beautiful and quiet city center with nice residents. We stayed just one night on our way from the port of Livorno, close to the highway. Thank you for everything and we will be back.

Excellent location, very close to the main road, with gas station and quiet neighborhood. Room with great comfort, very beautiful, with balcony, very clean and with all the facilities, great size bathroom inside the room. Free Wi-Fi and parking. The owner helped me a lot with recommendations on places to eat or what to do during my stay, as well as waiting for me for a late check-in. Very pleasant atmosphere with a thoughtful touch with water and sweet in the room. I recommend it and will be back as soon as possible.

Room was very clean and had all the comforts. There was also attention to details as complementary bottle of water for each person, nice decorations on the bed on arrival and some candies. Staff were very nice and friendly and breakfast was very good as well.

We stayed for only one night but it was a great place. The manager was kind enough to wait for us to check in as we were stuck in traffic and could not arrive in time. The room was quite spacious and with a terrace, AC and a small TV. It was quite near the main road and accessible.

The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, bed was big and comfortable, you can get a good night sleep. Bathroom was clean and modern. There was also this balcony with a table and chairs so you could sit outside. With the room, you get a complimentary water and candy which was a very cute touch. This booking was definitely great value for money.

Visited for one night as part of a motorbike tour. Owner and cafe staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was more than suitable for my requirements, clean and comfortable. The hotel is a short distance from the motorway and there is secure private parking to the rear of the hotel which is closed at night, which is a bonus for those of us that stress about our motorbike security overnight. The cafe is small with a pleasant local atmosphere and used by the locals offering simple snacks, sandwiches, cakes and pasta dishes with excellent coffee and varied cold drinks. My room was a single bed allocation to the front of the hotel and though the hotel also has a petrol station as part of the grounds/area, I had no issues with noise, and the added bonus of filling up before departure at local prices and not the expensive motorway costs. Less than ten minutes walk is the town centre that is a must to visit with some interesting buildings and a lovely centre with cafes and restaurants. An enjoyable one nights stay which enhanced my journey through Italy.
