We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mukaj. The family was very welcomimg. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast, homemade and with fresh homegrown ingredients. And: a beautiful view over the valley! Thank you very much!

We traveled by bike and enjoyed the nature scenery around Villa Mukaj very much. The family was very friendly and cooked especially delicious - all from the garden. The apartment was big and had all what you need - with a great view! It was so lovely to get in contact with the family; and we enjoyed every second of our stay. Thank you so much!

“Great stay if you’re bored of hotels and want to learn more about local life.”
Location in the countryside with perfect view from the balcony. Easy to reach by car. From the comments I knew that the hosts can arrange the dinner and breakfast and it was a big advantage for us and one more chance to try local cuisine. It was great! Big portions and we couldn’t eat everything but it was very delicious. The room was clean and tidy. We had everything we needed.

Lovely experience staying in the rural area nearby Fratar, 60mins from Gjirokaster. The Villa is is the top floor of a large home where the hosts live below. The host can provided us a very generous dinner made completely from their small farm at late notice which we negotiated a fair price for. We were left alone to enjoy our stay which we value.

Friendly host family, lovely environment and awesome food/wine. Lots of animals, quiet surrounding and plenty of things to see in the area. If you don't want to stay at a generic hotel and you're keen on an authentic experience, this is the place. Will come back on my next trip through Albania!
