The condo was a typical mountain condo. Avoid any condo managed by Vacasa if you are able to. They are a cut-rate version of Airbnb, and so badly mis-managed a scary situation with un-uniformed men demanding access to the unit during my stay that I now know why they are a company that can’t stand on their own and need to use Booking.com to get customers. The situation lasted several hours, and was super upsetting as a solo female traveler. I was given no notice of the intended work, and received no support other than “we’re looking into it” while the guys continuously harassed and eventually bullied me into letting them into the property. As of today, I still haven’t even received an apology that this happened. Do yourself a favor and rent through Airbnb or VRBO, where owners are on the line for treating their guests with basic decency.
