Overview
Set amongst native bushland, Punga Grove offers stylish accommodation in the heart of Franz Josef Glacier village. All apartments include an outdoor deck, conservatory windows, fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi and satellite TV with 50 channels. Surrounded by stunning high alpine peaks, Punga Grove is a 2-minute walk to shops, cafes, bars and local tour operators. It is a 10-minute drive to the car park for access to the Franz Josef Glacier. Guests have access to laundry facilities and a gas barbecue. Some studios and apartments feature a luxury spa bath, gas log fire, underfloor heating and leather sofas. Continental breakfast can be delivered to the rooms each morning. Free parking is included and all rooms are serviced daily.

“Beautiful location and accommodation”
This accomodation exceeded our expectations. Amazing large room with a lovely bush view. Mini kitchenette with all the basics was ideal for us. The bed was large and so comfortable that I didn’t want to get up in the morning. Lovely staff also who serviced our room during our stay.

The setting is gorgeous, as is the bay window. So pretty. The motel was in a good location and was comfortable. It had everything that we required. On the whole this was a very nice motel.

Everything! Located near to town, this spacious, warm, super clean, quiet, one bedroom apartment, was ideal for us. The two separate outdoor seating areas created greater privacy for our ground floor room. The beds were comfortable, quality linens and a good choice of bed pillows. The large, open style shower was a surprise, but a welcomed change to the smaller showers at most of our holiday accommodations. The exceptionally friendly, helpful lady at reception, Lily is an asset to Punga Grove.

“Great place to stay”
Large, very comfortable room. The gas fire was on when we arrived which added to the overall cosiness of the room. Lovely outlook from room. Very friendly staff. Loved our stay here.
