“Near Gourmet Delights”

Amazing location in walking distance to bars & restaurants. House was very clean, homely & well equipped. It's so beautiful hearing the Bellbirds & the Keas so close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our night & would definitely stay here again.

Central location, good sized rooms. Walk in Shower good pressure and hot water.

“Excellent home away from home”

Kea Retreat was exactly what we expected, quite amazing that the footprint fits in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Dishwasher was great and there is also a washing machine and dryer. Nespresso provided too, as well as linen. Checkout procedure is straightforward, no cleaning to do other than start the dishwasher. We were after clean, warm and quiet and it ticked all these boxes. Our contact was quick with communication and expectations and instructions on their part were clear. We spent two nights so we could check out Franz Josef and Fox Glacier. It was very handy to cafes and restaurants too, although we did find them to be quite expensive.

“Autumn stay at the Tui Retreat”

Warm and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything, even umbrellas to borrow. The beds were comfortable, lots of towels. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed for cooking. We enjoyed the lovely extras like the coffee and hot chocolate.

Nice beds. Good kitchen setup. Good heating. Close to lots of shops and restuarants/cafes.

The apartment was excellent, we didn't lack anything. The location is very good.

Stunning property. Washer and dryer plus a fully equipped kitchen. We hit some bad weather whilst in Franz Josef but the board games and books supplied plus Netflix kept us entertained.

A clean, comfortable house in a great center of town location with everything we needed. Host was clear with instructions for easy access to the house on arrival.

Convenient location. Very tidy unit and rooms were comfortable. each room had AC and ample space.

In middle of the town close to everything. Tidy self contained unit with three bedrooms and cooking facilities. Two couples travelling so ideal for us both having large comfotable beds and separate bathrooms.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, and homely place to stay. Easy walking distance to everything. Very friendly host who had the heatpump on for us on arrival. Excellent kitchen and laundry. Having two bathrooms was helpful, and the large kitchen table was great for our cards' nights.

Proximity to everything. Design of the house. Comfort and cleanliness of the house and mostly - fabulous hosts! Iona and Graham could not have been lovelier or more helpful! So happy to have stayed there!
