“A clean, comfortable stay with a bonus view of Franz if the clouds clear.”
The kitchen and lounge area was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It felt homely. The room was clean. Being able to get to the shared kitchen undercover and close by was a huge bonus. The staff were very helpful with advice about visiting Franz Josef and had it been clear, we would have had a beautiful view of it from the property.

“Would stay again”
Well laid out tourist Park with self contained units, tent and van sites. We had a unit and it included everything you'd need. Good quiet location. Staff were excellent. Glacial views from the front door!

It was very quiet & there were bellbirds in the gardens. It has a lovely view of the mountains when they are not in cloud.

“Average”
Most affordable place to stay in Franz Josef. The room is smallish but we expected that. There was a shared kitchen available for the units, which was very handy. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful.
