“A five-star hotel experience without the price tag”

Fantastic experience from start to finish - incredibly friendly and attentive owners, who gave us an upgrade because it was a quieter season. Cooked breakfast was made to order and fantastic! It's walking distance from the Franschoek Wine tram and the main street. Our room was super comfortable, smelled divine and the bed was huge. On par with any 5 star hotel I've stayed in. The outdoor area looks absolutely lovely, but sadly the weather didn't play ball so we didn't get to enjoy that...but we would 100% come back.

Honestly have nothing bad to say about this wonderful place. Our room was spotless, comfortable and new and the bathroom was exceptional. The breakfasts were delicious and our hosts very welcoming. Location was a minutes walk into the main street, but the property was very quiet and relaxing Could not recommend this more.

“The best experience for our stay in Franshhoek”

Amazing breakfast of continental meats/cheeses; pastries; cereals; yoghurt; fresh fruit; jams/honey and a full english breakfast or omelette with toast and tea/coffee and fruit juices. Nothing was too much trouble for our cheerful, friendly staff, and going to breakfast was a great start to our day. There was plenty of room to relax in the lounge area with TV if required or another library room for reading and quiet. We had a garden room which led into the beautifully well stocked garden with tasteful statues and a much welcomed small pool with surrounding loungers for the very hot days. Our room itself had an enormous comfortable bed and pillows, two chairs and a table, large wardrobe with a safe , a TV cabinet with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and a dressing table. There was a beautiful stained glass door leading to the large bathroom with amazing shower, wash basin etc and lovely fluffy white towels and toiletries which smelled divine. We cannot wait to stay at the Coach House again and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Franshhoek. A huge thank you to the owners Neil and Jo for creating such a wonderful place to stay :) x

What a fantastic place with wonderful hosts. David kindly moved our stay after we had a last minute change of plan, for no additional charge. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by David himself and allowed to check in early. The room was immaculate, perfectly sized and decorated. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and with a good selection. We will return here and hope The Coach House continues to thrive.

Beautiful decor, very good location.

“Comfortable and ideal”

The facilities were excellent with an ideal garden with pool and a good supply of beds. The property had been recently renovated and was very nicely decorated. The breakfast was of good quality. An easy 5 min walk into town makes this a goid location.

Really pleasant guest house in Franschhoek, just off the Main Street, the rooms have modern facilities and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Could not have found a better place to stay and explore the local area.

The Coach House does have a fantastic garden, the location is great and quite. The B&B is in walking distance to the City Centre and located in a safe area. The owners welcome visitors with amazing hospitality and offer a great breakfast in the morning. Parking is free next to the house.
