unfortunately, because of the storm, the electricity was down so this did dampen the expierience but there was nothing the owners could have done about this as the whole area was down.

Loved the location on the wine farm. „Remote“ and peaceful and felt good for the soul. Cottage was outstanding. Every detail carefully thought out, providing for your every need….. right down to the protea in the vase on the table! The beds were very comfortable, the fire was prepared to be lit, and worked wonderfully! The furniture was tasteful and everything was useable (no clutter). The size of the cottage was amazing! 2 large bedrooms and 2 full large bathrooms! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed wine tasting in the morning with a stunning cheese platter to accompany it! We are sorry we stayed only one night. This is a fabulous get away that deserves at least 3 nights at the very least! The winery is beautiful and the view of the mountains exceptional.

As I had my wallet, phone, laptop and travel documents stolen that afternoon I was held up at the police station and only arrived late. There was no one to direct me to the key safe or the cottage, both difficult to find. The weather also didn't help as it was very windy and kept on blowing the windows shut so that the cottage remained hot. Unsuccessful, booked two nights but left early in the morning having just stayed one night. In the circumstances would have been appreciated if the unstayed night had been refunded.

Lovely tranquil place to stay just outside Franschhoek. The cottages are spacious and spotless. The owners are really nice and super responsive, and the check-in and out was super easy. Can definitely recommend!
