Overview
Featuring a swimming pool and a gourmet restaurant, Rickety Bridge Manor House is located amongst the vineyards surrounding the historic town of Franschhoek. It offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. Beautiful interiors, amazing breakfast and such lovey staff. We stayed during the terrible floods in Frashoek and the property went above and beyond for us despite the disruption for them - they even opened the padel courts solely for us.

A truly memorable wine estate experience. Rickety Bridge offers stunning views, excellent wines, and warm hospitality. The tasting was relaxed and informative, and the setting in the Franschhoek Valley is absolutely beautiful. A perfect place to unwind and soak in the charm of the Cape Winelands. A special mention to Leonie, who was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. She patiently answered all our queries and made us feel welcome.

Gorgeous place, I fell in love with the architecture and decor of this place. Everything was so beautifully designed. Stunning place. The staff was exceptional and super friendly and the whole place just brought a calm energy and atmosphere.

Great staff! I asked for a heater to the room as it was a bit chilly and they brought it. Very nice garden. Great breakfast. Good design in rooms, very clean. The wine is good quality.

“Wonderful stay with stylish surroundings and excellent breakfast”
We had a wonderful stay at Rickety Bridge Manor House with our 2.5-year-old daughter. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The entire property and building are incredibly stylish and full of charm. The staff were very warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast was excellent and a real highlight each morning. We hope to come back again one day.

“Beautiful property in a wonderful wine area”
It’s a beautiful property in one of the nicest wine areas of the Western Cape (we’ve seen some other locations and this was nicer by a good margin). We stayed in a farm house with a small swimming pool and a cost garden for breakfast which made really nice and peaceful mornings.
