Lavender cottage is in a great location for central Franschhhoek, literally yards away from the wine tram and bus depot, and close to one of the best wine shops I have ever been to. The staff were great and helped us with several issues. The fire was great, and the kitchen was very useful. Morning tea and croissants (bought from the local bakers) were great out on the patio to the side of the house.

Absolutely beautiful residence with large comfy beds and ample space for the whole family. Felt very secure and was walking distance to the town, the pick ‘n’ pay and the wine train/bus.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage in the centre of Franschhoek. The cottage has a quaint and cosy feel to it. The fireplace was a nice extra on a very cold evening. They also have electric blankets on the beds which was amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.

“Stay was great. Home is lovely! Very clean, neat and tidy! Fire place and lounge was amazing!”
The doors were all a little stiff to open so we struggled a bit with the front door, date and garden gates. The one door by the bedroom downstairs didn’t open at all. We thought this may be a bathroom which would have been useful but we couldn’t open it.
