“Charming fruit farm stay”
Everything we needed was provided, and the heated blankets were a wonderful bonus. While not exactly as pictured, the place was still idyllic and peaceful. The hosts were great—warm and welcoming, with a lovely welcome drink and wine. Perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Total peace and tranquility. Location was perfect for visiting the wine farms using the Franschoek Wine Bus and Tram. Awsome welcome drink by Jonathan who made our stay very comfortable. Will certainly visit again.

Loved the peaceful location of the cottage amongst the fruit trees and an easy walk to the sublimely clear dam for swimming. A wonderfully warm welcome from Jonathan, helped by his delicious drink.

“A short but very sweet stay”
Jonathan was very friendly and helpful. The Kingfisher cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. The farm is gorgeous and the dam a treat with the most gorgeous views and lovely for swimming. The kids had a ball in the kayak. Close to Franschoek, which is as glamorous as ever. We loved the plums from the orchard right in front of our cottage too.

“A little piece of paradise in Franschoek”
The farm is a little piece of paradise. It's charming, it's fun and it's great to explore. We enjoyed our stay very much and Jonathan made us feel most welcome upon arrival and most welcome to return. Our friends that stayed in town were green with envy when they saw our accommodation.

“Pleasant stay”
The location of the farm is excellent, close to the central town and easy access to the trams. There are several top rated wine farms in close vicinity. It is definitely perfectly located. The farm itself is great, after wine tasting in the day, one can have short walks around the farm, enjoy tasting the berries and the good views around the dam\lake. Check in was smooth and friendly reception. The unit was clean and well serviced, and has the bare necessities required to sustain ones self, and a very good weber which we used a lot at night. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend staying here, but select one of the other units.
