“Fabulous hotel in a great location with friendly, efficient staff”

We had a lovely time at La Fontaine. The decor is fabulous, especially the bar area. The staff were all extremely friendly and efficient - we never wanted for anything. Our room was very well appointed with an enormous bed, double basins in the bathroom and lots of space. They also provided plenty of hangers, which a lot of hotels don’t. The house is one block away from Huguenot Road, where all the shops, restaurants etc. are. Highly recommend.

The hotel is full of character and just off the main road in Franschhoek. The staff are the absolute jewel in the crown of this place though - even through 3 day power outages and all that came with an awful storm, the team could not have done more for us. Kim the manager was so helpful and kind in sorting everything for us and even transferring us to camps bay for our last night so we could end our trip on a high note. She had great dinner recommendations and the whole team did everything they could for us. A brilliant place.

Perfect location, just off the main street so it’s quiet and close to lovely bars and restaurants. The most friendly staff on the planet! Couldn’t do enough for us. The room was incredible. Definitely will be returning.

Close to centre of Franshhoek. Good breakfast and free secure parking. We had a problem with the toilet when we checked in. Quickly sorted.

The hotel was extremely comfortable and in such a calm tranquil location, but also so close to all the shops and restaurants in the main street. The staff were so friendly and could not have done any more for us. It was the perfect place for our group to relax and enjoy Franschoek. The beds were super super comfortable. The service could not have been better.
