“Idyllic few days in simply stunning location”
The location is simply wonderful - set on the fringe of Franschhoek in a beautiful wine estate, overlooked by a stunning landscape. The accommodation is genuinely old school with an historical feel, full of character, beautiful artefacts, all looked after by very warm and attentive staff. Expensive, but real quality

“Perfection as always!”
Second time here and just as brilliant as I remember. Grande Provence is my favourite vineyard in the winelands. It is absolutely beautiful. The grounds and rooms are perfection - I even had to check what pillows they used so I could buy the same! The staff are definitely a highlight - always so welcoming, helpful and kind. I had a glass of wine one evening at the restaurant and without me even having to ask, they brought me over some mosquito spray to put on myself! And thank you so much to Wellington and Jessie for making our hotel stay so lovely.

“A very special experience!”
We loved everything ! We were a Honeymoon couple. They actually came out to bestow us with a warm welcome. The beautiful suite was so cosy with a fireplace going. Candles lit and the swan towels a masterpiece! A scrumptious breakfast the next morning. What an experience!

“Picturesque luxury. Ultimate comfort.”
The venue is beautiful - tucked away in the mountains, with stunning scenery. The beds are ridiculously comfortable - possibly the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and it’s the little extra touches with every interaction that makes a visit to Grande Provence so memorable. The food at the restaurant is good, but the Bistro is a little gem - would highly recommend having lunch there, even if you aren’t staying on the property! Wine tasting is a very personal thing, but I also reckon that you will find a wine here to suit your palate 😉 Also, if you are able to make use of their mobile massage services, these are absolutely outstanding!
