“Feels like heaven..!”

In a world where Orwell seems to be getting more right by the day, it is a delight that this Animal farm is instead indeed an Animal Sanctuary.. more so, it is a paradise.. We loved to be greeted by the donkey, piglet or calf on returning.. the new whirlpool was an absolute delight at the end of the day, with the panoramic view over the mountain& valley.. We loved the friendly atmosphere during our four night stay an will return for sure..

“Unique, fun, wow factor with beautiful views!”

This is a really unique property, the room has a total wow factor and it’s nice to experience the animals, and the room overlooks into the barn, with peacocks, hens, pigs, sheep etc roaming - it’s very lovely - the barn is also lovely to sit in, we only stayed one night so didn’t get chance to do this too much, two nights would have definitely been better! Incredible view on to the mountains from the bedroom and amazing stars at night! It really is a special spot.

The Barn is just a perfect place to totally unwind. The accommodation is just incredible with spectacular views & comfortable both inside and out. The loft wasnt missing a thing and thoughtfully decorated. Only regret was that we weren't staying longer! Roy was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly 😀

We had an amazing time at the Animal Sactuary. The personnel was super friendly, and the animals can enjoy a wonderful life filled with so much love and lots of space here. Our hotel room was really extraordinary, very clean and it had an incredible view at all the animals and the mountains. It is wonderful that there is such a fantastic place like this 😍🥰. Thanks to the founder and the personnel, who take care of this unique place for animals and visitors 🫶❤️!

It’s a unique concept, you really sleep above the barn with all the animals. The room was very spacious, super comfy bed, giant bath and the sauna + plunge as well as the sun deck were so goooood!

Uniqueness Location Quality

We had a fantastic stay at the barn loft and would recommend. Michelle greeted us for check in and gave us a tour around the barn loft and the neighbouring property la villa, which we had access to for breakfast and to use the pool facilities. Whilst the location felt remote it was only a 15 minute walk to the wine tram terminal and similar into town. The loft itself is decorated beautifully with so many features and has actually been updated since the booking.com photos, with different outdoor furniture, hot tub and a hidden tv at the end of the bed. The WiFi was good and it was great to have air con (although we weren’t able to control this via the remote for some reason). The loft has privacy blinds but note they aren’t on all windows and so the loft is light as soon as the sun rises. There was amble parking although if accessing the property at night it is very dark and so I’d recommend bringing a torch! The stargazing is excellent, as are the sunsets and sunrises. The staff were very friendly and the animals are clearly well looked after and eager to interact with guests. At the end of our stay check out was easy and we even received a free bottle of wine which was an added bonus. We didn’t use the sauna as it was too hot during our stay, but it looked great and easy to use.

This is an amazing stay id recommend to anyone, we got engaged here in front of the big fire and it was magical. The animals, the bed, the hot tub makes this into the best stay and one that'll stay with us forever Feeding the animals is a great highlight from 9pm and the puppies they now have up for adoption is so cute, my auntie even came and picked one up the week after we visited
