Absolut recommendation! With the terrace and the little pool this was Incredibly cute! We arrived quite early and just hoped to park our car with the luggage but could check in much earlier. Just some walking minutes to the main road with all coffees.

What an absolute jewel of a property in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood within easy, safe walking distance to the picturesque village centre where a plethora of bars, coffee shops, eateries, shops and the fabulous TukTuk microbrewery (historic beers and exceptional food!). This 3-unit property is set in beautiful well-maintained gardens with a lovely plunge pool and off-street secure parking. Each self-contained unit in the cottage had a private patio and we hardly noticed the other guests as they went about their day. The property itself is generously apportioned with all you could need for your stay. Super-comfy and fresh bed, linen and pillows and spacious bathroom with complementary products. Instructions on how to get to and access the property were clear and concise - very helpful when you're on a grand driving tour! The property is also within a 20 minute stroll of the Franschhoek Wine Tram depot (a tour that must be done). We loved this place and have no hesitation recommending Eight on Tuin. Thanks to the owners for keeping the property in such a welcoming, cosy and cared-for state.

Perfect for us! Just 5 minutes walk to the main street with wonderful shops and restaurants, and 15 minutes to the wine tram. Immaculate. Also very attentive, we asked if we could borrow an iron and it was brought round in 2 minutes flat! Recommended

“EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATION”
A very comfortable overnight stay for our journey from Greyton to Cape Town. We wanted for nothing, the location is quiet and safe. The a/c kept us cool (37C) and there was a nice large and comfortable bed. The location is within walking distance of our favourite restaurant, Le Bon Vivant and an easy stroll into town for breakfast.

great stay, the bed was really comfortable great facilities and we really appreciated the free tea coffee biscuits and toiletries in the stay! also the terrace area was beautiful too. was in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood about 5-10 minutes walk from the centre
