The location was ideal, being close to the main road through Franschhoek and all facilities, but in a very quiet situation. The hospitality shown by all the staff was exceptional. They could not do enough to make our short stay Memorable. We would both like to return in the future. I would highly recommend this guest house.

Breakfast was delicious

There was a massive storm when we stayed in May. A power outage was experienced in large parts of the W.Cape. So our 2 day stay expanded to 4 days. The staff were fantastic - helping us with whatever we needed. Mornay has the biggest welcoming smile and personality to go with it. During the storm, we enjoyed a lovely evening by the fire with other guests. It felt like 'home' 😊 Thank you!

A wonderful home from home. Fantastic hosts with beautiful bedrooms & deliciously comfortable beds. This hidden gem is two minutes walk from the centre of Franshoek. There is nothing not to like - fantastic breakfast & thoughtful touches. As always thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The location in an authentic and charming building in the center of Franschhoek. You feel welcome and at home from the moment you arrive. All staff but Monet in particular, have been so welcoming and caring. Breakfast was great and restaurants are at walking distance.

A true gem with architecture and decor displaying the style of the early 1900's. The manager was very friendly and really made us feel welcome, pointing out the sherry in our room as well as in the lounge and that we could help ourselves. A wonderful king size bed fitted with top quality linen.

The location, facilities and staff were exceptional. The room was comfortable and clean, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts made everything feel like home. A definite highlight is the presence of the host's dog Quando that was very happy to receive love and scratches in the mornings.

The guesthouse is perfectly located right in the city center. It felt completely safe to walk to the main street—even at night—where all the restaurants, galleries, and lively atmosphere are located, and we did so without any issues. Mornet manages the property beautifully, providing a very warm welcome and paying close attention to every detail throughout our stay, which made it incredibly pleasant. To top it off, the breakfast was both delicious and healthy!

Stylish and attention to detail! Our 2nd time here. No better place for a good night’s sleep after the wine tram! Cracking breakfast in the morning served by lovely staff in a beautiful garden setting.

Fabulous couple who manage this guest house were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location, first class for the village centre in Franschhoek. Our rooms were huge and the best thing of all ..... the most comfortable bed I have slept in in years! My brother, who had his own room, said the same. There were mattress toppers and somehow they are very superior to anything I've ever had before.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we'd booked for longer but know where to return to in the future. The owners and staff go out of their way for their guests.

As the name suggests, this beautiful guest house is ideally located for all amenities. The attention to detail in the rooms and in the public areas is second to none. The staff are magnificent - friendly and helpful. We can’t recommend Centre-Ville highly enough. We’ll be back.
