Everything was absolutely perfect! We were traveling with our two kids (5 yo and 16 months) and they felt home immediately. The place is very nice, clean and there is everything you need to cook. Owners are the sweetest people ever, our daughter spent a lot of time with them feeding and taking care of the different animals. The view is fantastic! We will definitely come back. A huge thanks!

Farm boutique hotel Hrovat has it all: the farm in a real sense, the nature in untouched beauty, the apartments very well equipped, clean and cosy, keeping at the same time a traditional touch with all the advantages of modern kitchen equipment and very good wifi. Underlying the added value of their hosts is a family that charms with kindness and warmth. The variety of animals that you can meet on the farm is really remarkable (naming only a few): from does and deer to emus, numerous kinds of ducks, geese, chickens, pheasants, quails, and doves, all living in perfect harmony. The view of the surrounding valley from the hill of cca 600 m height is amazing. The food being offered by the hosts is a must-try and guaranteed to be remembered: homemade, delicious, and made with love. You can feel the passion and love the hosts put into this farm. We are giving our best recommendations for visiting and staying.

It was a perfect family get away. We truly enjoyed it. The hosts were super nice. The place and the area is stunning.

“Holiday at grandparents”

We stayed with our 2 boys for few wonderful days in this apartment. After arrival we were welcomed by owner with small refreshment and .. žganije" (spirit). The apartment is spacious with wonderful view towards Celje. There are many domestic and wild animals all aroundthe house. The bonus was visit in private veteran car museum just few kilometers away, that was arranged by our host.

We loved everything about our stay here, so if you're wondering if you should book here or not, think no more. Do yourself a favor and stay at this wonderful place surrounded by nature and many lovely animals for a few days. Blaz and Jernej were absolutely amazing hosts from the first moment we met until we waved goodbye. They truly created a relaxing and cozy atmosphere on the farm, and the apartment we had was perfect. Spacious, clean, fully equipped kitchen, great style, amazing views from the terrace. We ended up staying at the farm and its surroundings on both days without ever moving our car. It was perfect for us to recharge our batteries and take some easy and short walks in the area. Breakfast comes at an extra charge, but don't hesitate and order it, it was fantastic! Freshly cooked food and a good variety made a great start to the day for us!

The warmth and kindness of the family is the basis of everything. Their generosity of spirit translates to generosity and thoughtfulness in everything they provide for guests. Lovely local produce superbly cooked and prepared in copious quantities. The welcome "basket" was the most generous ever, again lots of local produce. The location is great with fantastic views. The accommodation is superbly equipped and recently refurbished to a very high standard including both air conditioning and underfloor heating. Lots of animals and birds to engage with. Faultless.

Everything was top notch from start to finish. Feel as if you were visiting family. I advise you not to deny yourself the pleasure and try the local breakfasts and dinners, we will come back again😻

“Absolutely unique experience”

A real farm: deer, ostriches, peacocks, cats. Spend a couple of days with them! And be sure to order breakfast and dinner made with their own eggs, sausages, pickles and all local natural products. Incredible views from the window. Walking trails starts at the entrance to the room.

Spacious modern apartment with all necessary amenities and more, very comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the mountains and deer in the yard. A very kind and friendly warm family that takes care of their animals (which of course you can visit). They are very kid friendly and I would recommend this accommodation to everyone!

We enjoyed a lot stay in this place. Everything: apartment, food, service, communication was perfect. Hrovat family very friendly and nice people, they embrace with hospitality and care from the first till the last second, at this place you feel like at home. The newly renovated and very well equipped apartments has everything you could need for no worries stay. For all guests we'd recommend to try local products and order breakfast or dinner - everything is freshly prepared and very tasty. The Farm itself is in the very beutiful location, with plenty possibilities to have nice walks in the forest or hikes nearby. We enjoyed calm beutiful mornings in terrace (our dog also as he could walk around but not run away because terrace is good secured), children loved all variety of farm animals and pets. We wish all the best for this family business and hope to come back.

“Breath taking views, great hosts and a unique place”

This place is exceptional, the peace, tranquility and views are amongst the best we have ever stayed at. The balcony overlooks the deer paddock where you instantly see the deer running and playing, then the long distance views of mountains just make you stop and appreciate life. The hosts were beyond brilliant, helpful and friendly. They welcomed you with local produce from their little farm. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen modern and well stocked. The bathroom and shower were modern and excellent. There is parking next to the apartment, the air conditioning superb. The farm has numerous animals where you can enjoy feeding and being close to them. We have travelled extensively as a family of 6, always trying to balance budget with seeing the world. We have stayed in some poor places and we have stayed in some good, this place is truly up there with the very best in all aspects from views, comfort and hosts.

We had an incredible stay at the Hrovat family's place! The hosts were exceptional, and our kids had a blast with the variety of animals on the farm (from little puppies, to all kinds of birds and even deer). The apartment was modern, fully equipped, and the breakfast was delicious. All surrounding attractions are a few minutes' drive away. Highly recommend for families and would love to return in the future!

The apartment was so lovely decorated and well equipped. The location was easy accessible, the highest property on the hill, surrounded only by quiet forest, excellent valley views and family's animals. The hosts were kind, very helpful and so generous - offering homemade products and taking their time to show us their farm and lovely animals they care for. As we were travelling for New Year's Eve weekend, we spontaneously ended up celebrating with Jernej, Blaž, Vesna, Bojan and other guests in the common room and it was such a nice and fun evening! That dinner and breakfast the next morning were delicious, Mrs Vesna prepared lovely traditional meals. Also, we got a chance to buy their homemade apple juice, it's a must try. 10/10 would recommend to anyone for a short, but also longer stay! The area has a lot to offer - outdoor activities above all! A great experience! :)
