This was a bizarre place - in a kind of good way. There are two hobbit house pods you can rent - the peace dome and the happiness dome or some such. These pods are in a huge forest park down tiny tracks with frogs croaking, fireflies, strange jungle noises etc etc. The place is a drive down a long private-type road without much in the way of restaurants or sodas etc so a car or a driver is a must. We ventured down the very steep slope to the river in the gorge below to have a sunrise dip . We spotted red eyed tree frogs as we inched our way around the frog sanctuary in the dark with the park-provided flashlights. It was surreal! We would stay again and would reccommend, but only to friends who are prepared and would find it amusing to creep around a big park in the dead of night tring to find their hobbit house and not be completely spooked by the whole setup! An experience - when's the last time you had a whole park just to yourself?!

We stayed at the Wellness Park shorter than expected due to the bad weather conditions in the area, but hotel staff was understanding and helpful in finding the way to adjust our reservation. This hotel has it's own park and rainforest and we stayed in one of the separate houses which bring you very close to nature. Breakfast was generous and tasty.

The jacuzzi in front of our room and the extremely comfortable bed. Also beautiful grounds to walk around and fabulous traditional breakfast.

Lovely calm place

“Amazing nature immersion - would 100% recommend!”

The property was located in a serene and private part of La Fortuna with stunning views of Arenal Volcano. We had the whole thing to ourselves for three days and made the most of exploring the trails around the property and at the national park. The staff were exceptional - so friendly and helpful! They spoke brilliant English which really helped us. They spotted Toucans for us at breakfast and helped us with planning how to get to our next destination tomorrow- they went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and generous with unlimited coffee and big portions. They catered to my partner’s coeliac diet without hesitation. We stayed in the Peace Dome which is described as a tent online but is more like an igloo in the jungle. It was so comfortable and had WiFi, a fan and dehumidifier. We didn’t really have any bugs in there which was amazing and we slept very peacefully to the sound of the jungle.

Amazing views and kind staff. Great if you want a more secluded stay to recover from the buzz of the main town. The hot tub overlooking the Arenal Volcano was a one of a kind experience.

This really is a great spot. We had a family room and though relatively simple was bigger than expected comfortable and great for a few days. The property is outstanding. Tucked away so beautifully quite. A great contrast to the main town of La Fortuna. Makes a mild challenge for eating out but the staffs recommendations were great. The trails are where this place really shines. Outstanding rainforest. Dense, no one else around. Paths the right level of challenge without being too much.

Incredible stay in nature. Owners were flexible with accommodating a change to our booking for free that should otherwise be paid for. Private water falls and hiking trails with views of the arenal volcano? Amazing. Jimmy was very kind and friendly throughout our stay, providing excellent service.

Amazing location. You have the tropical forest just outside your door. Very serene and isolated.

The place is a green oasis of peace and nature. The location is great, and there are a lot of hiking routes at walking distance. Forest noises and colors will keep you company and help you relaxing. The owner is very nice and he will give you good advices if you ask. Great toasts with avocado and eggs for breakfast.

The lodge is not far away from the mistico hanging bridges. Huge area with its own trails, We had a swim in the little stream and a swim next to a little waterfall. All of it without the masses of people you normaly see in the National Parks. Coatis and exotic birds on the veranda and the Arenal vulcano directly in front of us (if its not covered by clouds). Great spot.

Lovely place, excellent service,, clean, new. The rooms are big and comfortable. Definitely a place to go again. You can do tracking or relax, the view of the volcano is awesome. The service was outstanding 11 out of 10

The grounds were nice, but paths and viewpoint bridge are not well kept. The room was OK, and the beds comfortable...a bit weird to have a washbasin in the kitchen and not in the bathroom. The outside area had spilled coffee which had not been cleaned up,and we had a cockroach in the kitchen area (the only place we have seen one ). Overall it is expensive and the idea of Wellness here is totally overblown. A few wind chimes and inspirational messages don't constitute Wellness and calling a breakfast Wellness certainly didn't make it good quality. Good coffee and complimentary welcome drink. There are many cheaper places in the area which provide closeness to nature, peace and tranquility without trying - this place is all about a concept, very disappointing overall. On a positive note, it's very convenient for the hanging bridges park (2 minutes drive).

What an incredible space! We had an amazing time here staying at the Harmony Dome. Everyone who worked here could not have done more to make us feel relaxed and at home. From the hummingbird gardens to the grounds and private waterfall, this place is a piece of magic! You can see how much heart and soul has been poured into growing this space and showing everyone how beautiful Costa Rica is. The food was also delicious and a real treat to have your dinner in front of such a magnificent volcano view! We went on a night walk with Mau, which was truly fantastic! His enthusiasm for nature was inspiring. We were sad to leave, but we were so thankful for their help in organizing our transfers to Monteverde. We hope to come back again and will recommend this place to anyone coming to Costa Rica! Olivia and Helena

“A truly exceptional place”

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. This place is amazing - so much wildlife can be seen in the grounds and the views of Arenal volcano are just breathtaking. The hike to the waterfall within the grounds and swimming in the cool, clear water there was one of the highlights of our whole trip. The breakfast and dinner onsite was very good. The guided night walk around the grounds is a must. Johnny was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had before our trip. He and all the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay here.
