“Smooth stay at Danta hostel”

The ambient, the location, the staff and the facilities. They constantly try to maintain the space clean. During my stay they changed the cooking pots and pans. It's pretty well organized and Alex, the owner is super kind and the staff too.

Comfortable beds with curtains for privacy and a fan in each bed to keep you cool. There was one hot shower working when we were there which was much appreciated, and the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. There was a social area to hang out but the vibe was very laid back and chill when we were there.

The location was good, a little far from the center, but it was relatively quiet. The air conditioning worked well most of the time, maybe too well. It was freezing at night. There were fitness and yoga facilities right next to the stream, which was cool, and the whole area was clean and cute.

Good location

There was a really bad, chemical smell in our bathroom and the whole room it wasn‘t cleaned (also mould). As we asked the reception for another room and explained the smell, there was no reaction. So in the end we didn‘t slept there.

One of staff (young boy)working at reception was so rude and and an shouldn’t be there ,I been to 75 countries and I never seen anyone in be staff at hostel be rude like that . If go and here just be careful of him and he shouldn’t work there and he need to learn how to behave himself and how to talk to guests. Be honest girls they were so nice and respectful too. Kitchen was big and u and same time few people could cook at kitchen too,

It's spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The toilets are separated from the bathrooms. Gym corner.

Look nowhere else and stay here. Such a lovely hostel owner, clean rooms and great location. The hostel was super cheap compared to everywhere else we stayed in costa rica. Kitchen was so well quipped and the hostel has a table tennis table and gym

Breakfast wasn't offered, just coffee. Well stocked kitchen with lots of cooking and eating equipment!

The smaller room was nice and good to sleep. Kitchen has many stoves, good to cook. Nice location a bit outside at a river. Good wifi.

Loved this hostel! Very clean room and bed, nice outdoor space to socialise, play table tennis or chill in a hammock. Large lockers were very useful, the staff let me keep my bags in there between checkout and leaving for my next location which was much appreciated! Friendly staff and great location - about ten minutes' walk from the bustle of the main town.
