“Luxurious thermal pool resort.”

We were upgraded to a junior suite which was very nice. We had booked a deluxe double. These are ground level and looked as though they'd be quite dark. The rooms were good quality from what we saw. Breakfast was fantastic with a large selection. The restaurant staff was terrific, the offerings for lunch and dinner were pretty standard. There are better and more interesting dining options in town. The pools are great and why people come here.

“Dreamy relaxation at this lovely hot springs resort”

Girgeous grounds with fantastic hot pools, really private, immersed in tropical vegetation and so relaxing. Excellent and varied breakfasts all 3 mornings! Well appointed rooms, quite modern and chic. We loved this place. A pleasure walking along tge rainforest jungly paths to our room. And the upstsirs bar with view of Arenal very special. We did not use spa but I bet it is wonderful!

“Do not recommend”

Our family stay was expensive for what it was. The place is old and needs a refurb, thankfully they seem to have done the bedrooms recently, but the communal areas were a let down. Water was warm and hot in the various pools, but the landscaping was old and in need of work. Breakfast was a disappointment, and staff really didn't seem bothered about the guests or happy to be working there. Drinks are expensive, which is a great shame, and the dinner food offer was poor. Overall, I would not recommend.

“A 10 year old's dream”

The hotel is lovely, very lush with planting, and well cared for grounds. We were amazed to see the pools emptied and cleaned daily. The hot spring pools are the star attraction (as they should be), and my 10 year old spent every moment he could in them. They didn't get too busy whilst we were there. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The housekeeping staff work very hard. We particularly liked the volcano viewpoint cafe and swimming pool. The snacks and drinks were very good up there. The breakfast buffet was simple but nice. Get your waffle or omlette order in 1st...as there is one lovely man making them and it can take a little while. The dinner menu wasn't to my taste but we managed to find things to eat. All in all, a hotel with amazing pools and grounds. My sons pick for the trip and it was exactly what he wanted 😁

Nice hot springs with multiple pools

The room was specious and clean. Perfect shower. It’s very good there was a dehumidifier, because in other hotels sometimes the humidity was too high. Hot springs pools were excellent. We also had a dinner at the hotel restaurant. Everything was tasty. And seviche we liked the most.

A great resort experience. Very luxurious and beautiful in the whole place. We experienced nice, friendly and professional service. Dinner and breakfast was great. Again great service personal. The room was big, beautiful and perfectly clean.
