Rooms have private bathrooms and good functional A/C. The accommodation is simple and functional. Theres a small pool area as well. There was a leak in my room coming from the sink and when I advised the cleaning lady, she came and saw to it straight away.

Small clean a/c room. pool 15 minutes walk into town . You are warned about road noise well in advance, so there's no point people complaining about it. Feel tea and coffee.

“Comfortable and relaxing”

Comfortable bed, very attentive staff and lovely open-air communal kitchen and (small) pool area. Only a short 10-15 min walk to the centre and / to the local river for a dip and rope swing.

Nice quiet place. Communal kitchen and pool area nice and calm. Milly was a good host and I booked all my tours through her as, contrary to my usual experience, it was cheaper to book with her than going direct to the companies

“Clean, affordable and welcoming”

We absolutely loved this place. Mili was amazing in welcoming us and making sure we made most of our visit. She definitely has fair tour prices. Our room was super clean and so was the shared kitchen. The swimming pool was amazing for a quick cool down.

Great location just a short drive from the main centre. Lovely clean rooms. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed and the pool was a great bonus.

Milly was very helpful and arranged all our tours. The pool was great to cool off, and I loved the shared kitchen facilities. The noise from the road was a bit loud at times but we still had a great time.

The hotel is small and efficient. It feels maybe more like a hostel with private dorms, rather than a hotel? The rooms have good air con and all the necessary facilities, but are not especially comfortable to spend time in as there are no soft furnishings, and very harsh lighting. The outdoor kitchen works but the equipment provided is quite basic. The bathrooms worked quite well; the shower had good pressure. The owner helped us book a transfer to Monteverde at a better price than I could find online. The transfer was perfectly on time and worked really well. The location is on a main road, but the noise did not disturb us. Tiquicia is a nice restaurant (but small!) about 5 minutes walk away, and the supermarket/town centre is about 10 minutes. It was very easy to get Ubers to or from the hotel.
