“The best view in the whole town.”

This was such a beautiful home and view is second to none. If you want to relax on a beautiful porche gazing at a Volcano this is your spot. There also a beautiful restaurant just up the street and the house has all cook items available. It was a 10 out of 10 experience.

Location with lovely garden and view, comfy beds, hot shower, washing machine and car parking, you get to la fortuna in about 15 minutes

“Volcanoe view house”

The location is beyond words. Top of the world with views for miles and miles. With the volcanoe centre stage. House was large, clean, and comfortable. And detached with neighbours that are not too close. Giving you privacy. You will need a car to travel to the sites and activities which are numerous. But all a few miles away.

“Beautiful view and gardens in well-equipped house”

The view from the property was amazing! It was a bit cloudy sometimes but we could usually see Arenal poking through. The garden is so beautiful, and attracts gorgeous butterflies and hummingbirds. My dad had a great time just sitting on the patio and enjoying the sound of the jungle, watching all the wildlife surrounding the cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing there. We also found the resident sloth on the road next to the house! The mural on the walls of the house is unbelievably beautiful!! The house was compact but had everything you needed - hot water, wifi, washing machine, AC, fully equalised kitchen, and even a smart TV. We really enjoyed staying there, and the price was great too!

“Comfortable private cottages”

Our large family was divided up among three of the cottages. All were clean, comfortable and had a view of the volcano. Two of the cottages were surrounded by greenery, and people in those cottages enjoyed sighting wildlife such as monkeys, birds and butterflies.

Very good value for money and breathtaking view on El Arenal. Perfect family house.

“Fabulous view in a peaceful location”

Beautiful uninterrupted view of the Arenal volcano and valley. Quiet, rural setting with a few cabins nearby. The bedroom had double windows opening on to the patio. It was a good size with 2 comfortable queen beds and a put up bed for a child. Aircon was only in the bedroom, it was quiet and efficient. There was a large shower unit with lots of hot water. Cushioned seats and a table were on a covered patio which was large enough to use during a downpour. The settee in the living area was a good size. The kitchen has a full sized freestanding cooker with 4 rings , a microwave, rice steamer, and mini oven grill, coffee machine and kettle. Cooking utensils were limited to spoons/ slice and a knife. There were plenty of pans & a colander. The 11kg load washing machine was a bonus. Daniel was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We were delighted when he introduced us to Freddy a local sloth at the end of the drive.

The view is amazing ! Has everything as advertised. We loved having breakfast while watching the colibris. During the evening we had a firefly show and the visit of the biggest toad.

“Beautiful volcano view!”

Great location for calm stay with spectacular view on the volcano. The house is relatively small (just living room and one bedroom), but has all what you need to stay with the family, including wash-machine and even small terrace overlooking the volcano.

The direct contact with the owner’s mother who took us on a garden tour and made us discover hospitality And… very hot shower!

We really liked the fact that it had all you need to cook, it had WiFi and the place was nice plus the view of the volcano was incredible! The beds smelled nice, they provided towels, shampoo, and even detergent to wash the clothes. Both the Chalet and the house were beautiful.

“Wonderful view of the Arenal volcano”

Very comfortable, well equipped house with a beautiful view of the volcano. Very good contact with the host. Fully equipped kitchen. There is a washing machine and laundry detergent on site. Quiet and peaceful area where in the evening or in the morning you can enjoy your eyes on the terrace with a beautiful view. The property is quite a distance from the center of La Fortuna, we didn't mind (perfect starting point for Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges or Treking Arenal).

Owner was very attentive to our requests and needs. They made us feel like family and shared fruit from their abundant fruit trees! Loved the views from high in the hills. Would definitely stay here again!

“Pura Vida!”

Wonderful little casita with a great view of Arenal (when it's not in the clouds). Very peaceful and quiet. Daniel is a very responsive host. Walking distance to Daniel's family's restaurant, Jalapas, for wonderful food and service! Would stay again!
