The hotel is an established property. The bungalows are spacious and well landscaped for privacy. It is close to the main part of La Fortuna. The pool area was relaxed and a nice place to hang out with our group. We saw plenty of wildlife during our pool time. The breakfast was delicious. One of the best during our stay in Costa Rica.

The hot Breakfast was good. They will cook your eggs to your taste. The Casitas are very close to plenty of restaurants, and supermarkets. The town center is withing walking distance. There is also a Zipline, Agency in front of the hotel. You can park your car, or Motorcycle next to each casita.

Amazing hotel for the price. Location is great. Breakfast is amazing and fulfilling as well. The views of the volcano are stunning from the pool area.

Our stay at this hotel was memorable for all the right reasons. The entire property was very clean and they serve a great freshly made breakfast. The location is excellent. It is situated 5-10min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches that we’ve visited (Playa Carrillo). The kids loved the swimming pool. It was clean, well-kept, and a perfect place to relax. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—they didn’t just treat us as guests, but more like family. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made a lasting impression and turned a great stay into an exceptional one. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The view of the volcano was fantastic. It was quiet there and backs onto a sloth reserve, so lots of wildlife. The staff were friendly and kind. The breakfast was good.

“Perfect place to explore La Fortuna”

Perfectly positioned with uninterrupted view of the Arenal volcano. 15 minutes walk into town, less than 5 minutes to the supermarket. Simple, comfortable and clean rooms with large bathrooms and a fridge. Really kind and helpful manager who made me feel very welcome. Numerous birds and butterflies.

Huge room, good breakfast, friendly staff. Fridge in the room. Liked having our own little cottage. Lots of parking room if you have a car. I would call this place "rustic", but it was very clean and we were comfortable.

Spacious cabin with good beds, good shower and good toilet paper but no hooks to hang towels or other stuff. Functional fridge that has seen better days. Nice view on the Arenal Volcano (if not shrouded in clouds) from the pool area at the back of the garden where also Toucans and Hummingbirds (a.o.) can be seen. Good breakfast options but for dinner the on-site restaurant is a pricy steak-house. Lots of other dinner options available nearby however. The breakfast area should be relocated to the back garden where the guests could enjoy both views, birds, peace and quiet.

This was a bird watching paradise right on the edge of La Fortuna. Sitting by the pool we saw the clouds move lower and higher with the unobstructed view of Mount Arenal. The included breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had plenty of hot water and the AC worked great, regardless of the wood plank walls. I was nervous that there might be more insects but we hardly saw any. This motel is a very short walk to town and close to many great restaurants and a large grocery/multi purpose store. There was a large fridge in our room but that was the only appliance. Just wear good shoes as the sidewalks to town are very rough!

Amazing views of the Arenal volcano - weather permitting. Perfect location just on the outskirts of La Fortuna. There are a couple of good restaurants each side and a well stocked supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Helgar was really helpful with tips how to make the most of our stay. The property is very well maintained - if you are interested in nature, you will struggle to see more birds in one place! Hummingbirds and other colourful birds are being encouraged to come and feed on the lovely planting around the cabins as well as the strategically placed feeders. The view of the volcano across the swimming pool is priceless! The breakfast, especially the fruit platter is lovely!
