We saw more animals and birds in the hotel territory than in the natural park.🤣 A sloth, opossum, hummingbirds, huge iguanas… The pool had a volcano view and such a good and pure vibe all around the property😍 Loved everything.

“Really great stay!”

I loved my stay at Hotel Secreto and would always come back. The rooms are very spacious, clean and I loved the balcony with view of Arenal. The outside area with the pool and garden is so pretty and the staff is extremly nice and helpful. They even allowed me to check-in earlier. You are directly in downtown of La Fortuna, so everything can be easily reached by foot, still it is a quiet area. I would always come back here.

The staff is helpful and very kind. The hotel is clean and the location is perfect. The garden is wonderful with a lot of different plants and birds. We even saw a sloth in the parking lot. Beds are very comfortable!

The place is beautiful and brand new. I loved the sloths around every morning!

This should be called the Secret Garden Hotel.. ! there was so much wildlife just in the beautiful hotel grounds even a sloth ! Humming birds plus loads else . Great staff especially Adriana who helped me . Secluded rooms with outside seating . Great breakfast. Great location to step into town and for all the trips . Clean pool . Would thoroughly recommend.

Clean and comfortable room in very nice atmosphere and friendly personnel with a small swimming pool. Very well located, walking distance from many restaurants and shops.

Pillows way too thick, painted floors super slippery, my sister fell and someone else face planted, no sign about being cautious

Tropical garden with lots of birds, clean room, outdoor breakfast area, walkable to town, sloths in the trees near the car park almost every day. Enjoyed it a lot!

Amazing find of a hotel. Brilliant staff, great breakfast and couldn’t fault it - Great location at the end of a quiet residential street, a couple of minutes walk from the main La Fortuna shops and restaurants. Gardens and pool area were so lovely attracting lots of birds to watch.

It is in a great location. You can walk a couple hundred yards for restaurants but the hotel itself is in a quiet part of town with nice gardens, a swimming pool with view of Arenal and lots of birds. A Kiskadee joined us for breakfast. The staff were courteous and helpful.
