“Beautiful property and great facilities, but let down by awkward, rude service.”

The accommodation itself was excellent. We stayed in a very clean and nice bungalow. The garden area is beautiful, and we loved the pool, pool table, table tennis, and small jacuzzi. Having free coffee and tea facilities was a great bonus. The cleaners and landscapers were incredibly kind, friendly, and hard-working.

Fabulous staff very very friendly! The pool was lovely and soothing after a day of adventure and right next to it was an area for playing games. The breakfast was delicious, good price and the ladies in the kitchen were very kind. It was amazing for bird watching and seeing animals.

Everything was good - lovely green place. Amazing nature around the hostel. Jacuzzi is nice, breakfast was good.

Lovely pool, communal games area, kitchen, and gardens. Staff were very generous. A bit outside La Fortuna (which was good) with a nice soda opposite. Rooms included a private patio with rocking chairs and a hammock.

Noisy A/C unit that only worked in high (noisy) fan speed

They had a nice pool with jacuzzi and also a ping pong table!

“Great stay”

Only one night here but a lovely property. Communal spaces are great and encourage travellers to chat - hostel vibe but for grown ups! Stunning view of the volcano from our room. Very convenient for local tours to coffee and cacao (North Fields) and hot springs (Eco Termales). Entertaining wildlife on site e.g. hummingbirds.

Very goodocation just 400m from a massive souvenir shop and pizza restaurant, and 2 km from the Baldi hot Springs. Although next to the main road, very quiet inside the room. Enchanting garden, and the view to the volcano, superb (if the clouds are playing game!).

Staff is very friendly. Very clean room. Great pool.

“A nice spot”

This was a well-located property close to the center but situated in a quiet garden and with security gates for safety. The gardens and farm birds (chooks, turkeys, peacocks) made it feel very relaxing. The pool was great, and I loved having views of the volcano from our front door! We had parking at our door too, which was handy! The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge but no tea-coffee making facilities in the room - that is available in a shared area.

Beautiful apartments a bit outside of the city center.

Beautiful furnished resort. Lots of plants which makes it feel natural. Nice pool and some entertainment, pool table , table tennis and more. Breakfast facility was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff.

“A lovely hotel surrounded by nature”

The rooms are comfortable and clean, surrounded by nature and animals, and the service is generally good.

Probably the best views of the volcano if you are lucky enough to be there with sunny weather and an amazing garden. Don’t expect luxury or modern equipment but it’s a nice Costa Rica style hotel and each room has its own small terrace/garden with a hammock.
