“Rain Forest Sanctuary in the Heart of La Fortuna”

Lomas del Volcán has a stunning location situated underneath the Arenal Volcano; rooms/lodges were spacious and well-appointed with a deck, jacuzzi bath and stunning location set in lush tropical rainforest. The hotel pool and pool bar were a highlight with views of monkeys, birds and other wildlife also in a stunning elevated setting. Enjoyed the lounge bar food on a couple of evenings. The team and service was generally warm, friendly and attentive….we very much enjoyed the stay….and the sloth discovery tour which the hotel also organised - we saw 9 sloths in their wild natural habitat 🙏

“Wonderful place to stay”

Beautiful property with a wonderful pool area and the pool was lovely and warm with a swim up bar. Staff so friendly and food very good.

Lovely property. Fantastic views for each cabin, designed to give you the best view of the volcano.

Fantastic accommodation individual bungalow in the forest. Clean with great facilities. Lovely restaurant setting and pool area. Service was excellent and food choices at breakfast were fantastic

Views and tranquiliity

The location and the wildlife around the property including howler monkey hummingbird toucan. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room due to my mobility and they relocated me straight away.

“An enjoyable stay in a good chalet”

Room 521 is up the hill from the reception and almost at the end of the pathway. It's quite, but not totally secluded: however it was comfortable using the jacuzzi. The room facilities were good to excellent. Service was pleasant and mostly efficient

Beautiful gardens. Excellent breakfast - especially the hot rich coffee and omelets. Lots of choice. Staff were very friendly.

Breakfast morning view and the Coati Poncho were a highlight. Lunch was great.

The hotel was beautiful, grounds were well kept. The lodge was very large with a balcony front and back. Very large bathroom. Food was great. Staff very helpful

Hotel is beautifully located, surrounded by stunning nature that really elevates the whole experience. We stayed in a room with a private hot tub on the terrace – a true game-changer and absolutely worth it. Housekeeping delivered top-notch service throughout our stay, and the food was consistently delicious. A place that genuinely delivers on comfort and quality, end to end.

“Lovely and beautiful place”

We loved the cozy bungalow and large pool area with a pool bar. The entire area was really beautiful and well taken care of. The view of the volcano and the forest was stunning and the breakfast buffet was amazing. We saw different animals on the ground and really enjoyed our time.

Loved this location, the staff so helpful. Room Quaint and clean, volcano amazing when it appears. Pool bar and restaurant easy and convenient. Secluded but can get easily to town. The tours were great too did 4 ! Oh and the staff at the spa magic hands!
