“It was magical in all levels!”
I really enjoyed my stay in argdivan, speacially because of the staff! they make everyone feel welcome and i was glad that some of them joined me for some of the activities. For me the travel to Costa Rica was a healing and grieving one, as i had lost my father in january. I could say i made friends for a lifetime and that would be a pleasure seeing them again. The place itself was awesome, had everything we needed and at others hostels in different cities, me and friends that i met in la fortuna, kept comparing them with argdivan and how argdivan had things that others did not have. Location was great too with a beautiful view from the volcano arenal! Much love from Daniel, your Brazilian amigo <3

I had a really great stay at Argdivan Hostel. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I especially had more contact with George, who was really kind and made sure everything was okay during my stay. At the same time, the whole team created a positive vibe, and you could feel that everyone genuinely cares about the guests. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly stay!

Great location, nice breakfast, staff were helpful for booking tours and suggesting what to do and soda recommendations. Room was good and clean, laundry line outside. Outdoor area upstairs was nice for chilling. Its cheaper to pay in USD and need USD cash for most tours booked through the hostel.

“You get what you pay for”
Great location, easy access to restaurants and shops. Off the main streets enough that it was quiet (aside from music played during the daytime). Public parking is easily available along the street in front of hostel. May be a good option if you plan to be away during the days. Hot water available in shower. Staff were friendly, though many were volunteers and didn't know much about the area.

I had my own private room. However I enjoyed the communal areas. The staff were friendly. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Great stay.

“Wonderfull”
Had a 3 night stay at Argdivan hostel to visit la Fortuna. Couldn’t have picked a better place! Accommodation is great but what makes the difference is the people there. I have been greeted with such a warm welcome that I immediately felt home. Aron & George were always there to help you about anything and always open for a quick chat. Great to test your Spanish with them! And the cherry on the cake, la crème de la crème, Amelia that was there to keep the bar safe and organize the best evening games I have seen in my life. Never have I had so much fun before! Considering coming back for that alone 🤪
