“Beautiful stay and a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica”

Beautiful property in a great location. The host Yvette was very kind and even let me practice my bad Spanish with her! She met us at the property and showed us round, giving us a welcome drink which was a nice touch. We were delivered breakfast every morning which was really lovely, a mix of fruits and breads/pastries. The property itself is clean and spacious and was perfect for 2 people. Really nice balcony where you can watch the birds with a view of Arenal Volcano. Location is just outside of La Fortuna but a very quick drive in. There are also plenty of nice restaurants walkable from the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Arenal/La Fortuna!!!

“Little Oasis in La Fortuna close to waterfall.”

This is a special place owned and run by a lovely couple. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed their beautifully planted gardens together with watching a variety of birds every morning feeding at the bird tables. A special touch was having a lovely fruit box left outside our door each morning. Elizabeth also gave us a recommendation for a very good restaurant within walking distance .

“An absolute gem!”

An absolute gem! The architecture of house is stunning as well as the decoration. It is spacious, modern, but still authentic, the bed is huge and super comfy, large bathrooms and nice view on the garden. Ivette and partner are super friendly and very helpful. We saw more species of birds here than during our whole trip! Highly reccomended.

We had a fantastic experience at Arenal Getaway. The location was perfect — close to everything in La Fortuna, and getting around with Uber was super easy and affordable. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing clear instructions that made check-in and our entire stay smooth and stress-free. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt well taken care of. Perfect spot for exploring the surrounding attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional stay! The split level appartment was trully incredible- comfortable beds, small kitchen, hot tub in the garden and value for money!

We got an amazing view of the volcano and many different types of bird came to visit. Small garden and pool and a hot tub, very tranquil place. Lovely hosts.

Really great apartments, stylish, clean, comfy beds well equipped. The location was just outside of the busy town, still close, but the gardens and pool were beautiful, and there were lots of cool birds around. Parking within the gated yard was a bonus. Host were great, luckily they spoke English so they were able to give us lots of recommendations.

The property is super clean and new and has an amazing garden with lots of birds. Breakfast was also excellent and communication with the host was smooth.

“A peaceful sanctuary with excellent hospitality!”

It was better than expected! It was such a wonderful surprise to see how beautiful it was—like a sanctuary filled with colorful birds, tropical flowers, and other species. It was easy to get there by Uber, and if you wanted, you could walk to several natural tourist spots in the area. Coming from a busy, crowded city, arriving at this place was incredibly refreshing because everything was so comfortable. The bed was amazing, the apartment was well-equipped and spotless. There were plenty of cozy spots just to sit and enjoy watching the hummingbirds or the sunset. We made use of the BBQ and the jacuzzi. The staff was another highlight—they were incredibly kind and attentive. They even prepared fresh fruit for us in the mornings and had that genuine Pura Vida vibe. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. It’s perfect for nature-conscious people who respect the environment.

Great place to stay, super modern, with amazing views on the volcano and surrounding rain forest. Hosts were extremely welcoming and made us fresh fruit boxes every morning! Would 100% recommend!

“Very cosy stay next to La Fortuna”

This was the best apartment "***bnb" experience in a long time! The hosts built a very beautiful and unique apartment 5 min away from La Fortuna Central. It was cosy, beautiful located in a living garden. We could see Tucans in the Trees! We were welcomed so friendly, that was beyond our expectations. I think we arrived as guests and left as friends, thank you! Parking was easy and gated on the property. Wifi was good. Climate controled. Somehow not much moscitos in November.

“Beautiful accomodation with an amazing bedroom view.”

The accomodation was very nice and clean. The outside bathroom and shower on the first floor was very special, on the ground floor there is another shower available as was a very nice outside whirlpool. The view from the bedroom is amazing, you wake up looking at the vulcano and directly into the surrounding trees with an abundance of birds and from our bedroom balcony we had the chance to spot a sloth who spend the whole morning there. Ivette and Xavier the hosts are very kind and each morning they made a small plate with fruit and bread to start the day.

Everything. The accommodation was located in the jungle and the apartments very stylish and yet cozy. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming and we enjoyed our stay a lot. thank you
